A galaxy class starship, Is what you would get if you crossed the Titanic with A Yamato class battleship.
As a time traveller, Am I supposed to pack underwear or underwhen?

    The Titanic wasn't a bad ship. Of the three they built one Sank due to human error and the other to Undersea mines and Torpedoes but the Olympic had a long and useful life.

    The Yamato was again a good ship, it survived many battles.
    I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001. :confused:

    Really any cruise liner with any battle ship but those 2 are the most well known I think.

    At least I don't know the names of any of those other deathtraps.

    Except for one minor little detail. The Yamato had 18" guns. Aka BIIIIIG Dakka!!! The Galaxy in game... has... wait, those things are armed?

    (I think you get what I'm saying)
    It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once. B)

    Well the USS Yamato was a Galaxy class ship destroyed by the Dominion in their introductory arc in DS9.

    That was the Odyssey.

    The Yamato got destroyed by an Iconian computer virus.

    Food for thought: Reputation weapons cost 20,000 Dilithium at Mark 11, 30,000 at Mark 12. 20,000x5(Science Ships, not counting Cutting Beam)=100,000 Dilithium/150,000 Dilithium. x6(Cruiser, Escort, Cutting beam+a Torpedo slot or the Romulan Plasma)=120,000/180,000 Dilithium.

    Buying a new ship at Tier 5=120,000 Dilithium.

    God help you if you're buying Spiral Waves, at 40,000 per beam. 200,000 for 5 Beams, 240,000 for 6.

    If you have access to Spiral Waves you've already gotten 4 of them on the Galor.

    Yep, was trying to explain to my younger brother that the federation did have battleships. thats what I came up with.

    To the others. I was talking about lore not game mechanics.
