Sheild Regeneration Rate display "fix"

So, just now, I updated to the latest Tribble build, did a delete/recopy of my Holodeck character, and logged in. My ship, an Odyssey-class running MACO MK XII, finally showed a shield regeneration rate (199.4/6 sec) in sector space! No more warp speed with shields down...

I then went into system space around DS9, and looked at the value... still 199.4/6 sec. This puzzled me - in sector space, my shield power was at 65, in system space, it is 76. curious, I hit EPtS 3, and Rotate Shield Frequency 3, and the value was still.... 199.4/6 sec.

"Well, maybe it requires the shields to not be at 100 percent," I said, talking to myself.

So, the next thing I did was to head for a cluster mission to try to find some space combat.

Five Unknown systems later (grrrr....) I manage to find a space combat mission against some True Way Alliance. (Which featured Hideki-class frigates that are using polaron weapons now?) We engaged in combat!

Even after taking some damage to the shields... the listed regeneration rate was.... 199.4/sec. I fired off EMPtS, EPS, etc, etc, no change.

Cryptic, you didn't fix anything. You did the equivalent of writing "199.4/6 sec" with a Sharpie on a piece of cardboard and stuck it to the control board of my ship.

Granted, I don't program myself, but what is keeping you from simply taking the shield regeneration rate the game is currently using to regen the shields and throwing that value up on the screen? Unless, of course, shield regen is no longer modified by shield power.

Which would of course, make different power levels meaningless, since shield resists aren't affected by power level, either.

May I have some elaboration?

    I have the same problem, I open one temporal destroyer and now the shield regeneration rate is stuck.

    This is one of those things they fixed but actually broke worse than it was previously.

    I hope it gets attention, combat stats are enough of a mystery to most of the playerbase as it is.
