Best way to spend Zen

I want to know what you guys think is the best way spend zen for some that never had before.....

    What is your favourite flavour of icecream??
    It depends on what YOU want.

    For me, at the start I bought ships, now I always be seem to be buying uniform options.

    I'd go for a ship or the EC-Cap increase.

    - EC Cap Increase.
    - Account Bank Activation.
    - Inventory and Bank Addons.
    - Two additional Character Slots.
    - Additional Boff Slots.

    While these may not feel warm and fuzzy like buying the latest Z-Store ship or special outfit bundle, they are all useful and will increase the effectiveness of your current toon(s)

    if you only have the 2 chars, id get 4 more..
    more chars = more dilithium you can make per day..

    also the ec cap is a must have.. you will eventually need more then 10m.. most items that are worth anything cost over 10m

    i would go gold for 1 month instead of buying zen, this will increase your bank storage, inventory and give you 4 more boffs per char and also the shared account bank.

    You buy Master keys and mail them to me. I can give you a rare ship for each of them.

    Pretty much all of the above can be gained if you are a subscriber while you level up your character to max level. Then you stop your sub and you keep ALL of it.

    STO is so strange that way. There's just no reason to subscribe short of the initial burst to level 50.

    I've been playing for a few weeks now and I'm thinking of subbing. Can I only keep that cap increases etc. if I reach level 50 before I unsub? Or do I get to keep them no matter what level I am when I unsub?

    Lots of things are unlocked as you level up, including additional inventory and bank slots and BOFF slots. Those max out at 50, but you get some benefit even earlier.
    You also get a free costume change and a free respec token (which normally cost 500 zen) every 10 levels (at 10,20,30,40 and 50).
    All inventory unlocks are granted retroactively - you can level to 50, get a sub and the next time you log in your inventory and bank have grown to the max default size (you can still buy additional extensions for bank and inventory space).
    The respec tokens are NOT granted retroactively.

    The EC cap increase you get while you are a subscriber ends with your subscription. There is a permanent version of it in the EC store.

    You also get a fourth character slot while subscibed, and if you use it you get to keep it.

    Account bank slots are a permanent unlock as well.

    Thanks for the info. I just recently purchased 3000 zen and I'm trying to be smart about what to buy. This will be the last zen I'm able to buy for a good while. I figured I might sub for a month to get some of the practical stuff. I guess I'll by the EC cap increase from the store. What about master keys for Tal Shiar boxes? Is that a pretty good zen store purchase?

    I would recommend against buying keys to use on boxes, especially if that's the last Zen you will be able to get for a good while. The drop rates for the good stuff is very low and you can save up EC and buy the things you want off of the exchange. That's what I do.

    Personally I go for ships and uniforms. Both of those are account wide, so they can be used on any future characters I create. It's up to you though since it's you money, but I really recommend against buying keys to open boxes.

    it is posible to buy sunsriber with zen or it must be done with real money ?
