I've put untold* amounts into C-points/zen and loved every minute of the game...
but it is with a heavy heart that today I deleted all my characters, without even offloading any valuables in my inventories to fleet mates and just want to make a clean brake. I will not be coming back to this game or any other.
I just want to wish everyone the best and I hope everyone enjoys all the great times that are to be had in season 8 and beyond.
Live long and Prosper!
* amounts are actually known by me I just don't feel like crunching the numbers.

this is less a I quit thread and more a goodbye thread, not doing this because I feel unjustly treated by the game, or upset that a game element didn't go the way I wanted it to. This is more my fair well to a large part of my social life for the last six+ years ( counting the time I've devoted to the development stages of the game where I talked it up a storm and what not )
Attention all decks...wannabe server celeb is leaving the ship!!
gold is worthless in STO, and I already deleted all my toons, so it's to late to ask for my junk... I'm not a wannabe anything, I'm just a proud devoted supporter of this game who is saying goodbye.
Bye, don't let the Thalaron burst hit you on the way out. On a serious not, these type of threads (I quit or goodbye my brethren) are not allowed. Also CAN I HAZ UR STUFF?!?!:D
You know it's a bummer to hear someone leaving because of what they think they were being unproperly treated.
That you deleted all your stuff is imho quite stupid but a good wat to do cold turkey.
But seriously, why i didn't said it was sad that you were leaving, might be because one of my neighbours jusy died last week, a very social and healthy guy who actually died alone by a cardiac arrest. Or that yesterday a fleetmate told me someone died in his family.
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

Why would you not give your account to a friend/fleet-mate is beyond me.
Change your password, give him the info and tell him to change the pass-word and your game is gone and a friend have some nice stuff.

EDIT: I'll make sure to pass along your feedback, but as "I quit" threads are not allowed because they always turn into flame threads where the poster gets trolled, I unfortunately have to close this one down. Remember, now that the game is free-to-play, feel free to stop back anytime. We hope to see you again soon! ~BranFlakes

Now that fits my definition of sad.
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
