Operation Gamma-Needs a Romulan version

I just finished playing through this mission today. First, my character is a KDF allied Reman, and I used the Scorpion Fighter to complete the mission.

The interior of my scorpion was shown to be a Klingon shuttle with the Orion intelligence officer. While I can accept that an Orion would be on my ship, I reject that the interior has Klingon athletics.

The mission needs to be revamped for Romulan characters. Since we are stuck with Tovan Khev, it only seems logical that the cut scenes should use him (despite having another BOFF sloted). Also, the game text should reflect that a Republic character is assisting the Federation and KDF. One could argue that they are a neutral third party acting as a messenger. Having both Farek and Eraun both exclaim about Romulans would be a nice touch.

    Yes, it does.

It should at least have shown the Romulan shuttle interior. It might not have made a convincing Scorpion (though I don't mind, I prefer the Kestrel) but it would have - at least - been Romulan.

The federation shuttle with a federation bridge officer was a little bit surprising when it appeared. I might be allied with the Fed but it doesn't mean I redo the interior of my kestrel to Federation colours and start having humans on my bridge!

Do Klingons have special chin-up bars, weight sets, treadmills, etc.? All that athletic equipment would be hard to cram into a Scorpion fighter.

    Also, here you go :)

I don't care how long you've been playing. I only care about how you play.
And remember to follow the rules.

This was a bit shocking. If you're fed, There's also a diplomatic mission in the Bajor system (which you're likely to do at almost the same time as Operation Gamma) where two Cardassians beam into your observation lounge... a federation ship Observation lounge, guarded by federation security.

The entire arc could use a pass by the devs. Every time they release a new season/expansion something else breaks. The cutscenes compared to the originals are quite ridiculous right now with all the glitches.

Some of the cutscenes can't be skipped either. IIRC, my romulan bugged and had to watch the briefing room of second wave TWICE. (The scene with the speeches and then the invasion fleet).

As for scorpion bridge interior... wouldn't work. It's a two-person fighter with just the seats.

This, pretty much. For what it's worth, you still get the "Federation Shuttle" interior if you complete Operation Gamma in a Peregrine Fighter, Stalker, Tholian Widow, or any other ship that wouldn't logically have a "Shuttle" interior anyway.

Techincally, the Peregrine fighter is a modified courier ship at it's base.

So it could have a two-person side by side cockpit with an open area in the back, it's also larger then the others IIRC.

If they do rework this, can you please give me an option to fly in the main battle with the fleet instead of doing the shuttle? I don't like the shuttle missions. :(

not possible, because you have to deactivate the sensor nodes on the station itself, you cant do that while fighting the fleet.

I did this mission last night on my Reman character.

She also got the KDF bridge cut scenes, which kind of spoils the immersion.

One other thing which annoyed me, mainly because I'm not a fan of this mission, is that when I'd completed it she was awarded with Mk X engines and deflectors instead of Mk XI even though shes at lvl 50 ??

Anyone else get that problem or is my poor little Sh'Karra a bugged toon?

I agree that the mission should be revamped for Romulans. The shuttle interior should match what you are flying and if you have a cloaked shuttle you should be able to slip right past the zingers without having to fight at all. Just saying...
