Making this thread as a wall of shame and a wall of fame. Take your 1 v 1 battles, screenshot it, post it to photobucket or dropbox and share here 8). Especially satisfying for those mouthy idjits LOL

    1v1 is the lowest form of PvP, and will always be won by bug ships and A2B-FAW-DEM3 cruisers. It is not a good measure of the effectiveness of any ship in PvP.

    Threads like these only serve to cause people to get emotionally heated, post excuses for why they lost, post justifications for why their tactics aren't cheap, etc etc.

    If you were running some sort of 1v1 tournament and this was the tally thread, that's one thing. But that's not what this is.

    I suspect you'll find this thread gone before it starts.

    I wasn't aware posting screenshots of destroying noobs or characters that just turned 50 inexperienced was something worth mentioning. I loled when I saw one of those screenshots of the player saying he just turned 50 and when i saw his damage even more.

    I mean those damage numbers from your opponents lol, you were definitely fighting pro pvp vets. Hell I should just start challenging random pug players who I know are bad and screenshot them if that's the case. I was all excited to see actual screenshots of fights worth mentioning but instead I see screenshots of killing noobs sigh.

    Dun dun dun, did plenty of 1v1s. They are great to improve ones timing or get a better understanding about specific stuff.

    But thats all it is.

    Bug vs healer/tank, equally skilled tank/healer with gear wins.

    Good hit'n run spiker vs escort (even bug), spiker wins.

    Escort vs escort (Non cloakers, equal unless one of the two uses tb mines, nukara mines, chronitons, subnuke doffs, etc. Native turn rater wins, thus Bug.

    Sci vs Sci, boring.

    Engi vs Engi, why even start LOL

    Exceptions are always there, but it only shows the imbalance in this game most of the time
    Bragging about it with screenshots is fun tho ;)

    Ha, this guy is too much. Anybody in my opinion that has to prove they won with a screenshot is the lowest form of existence. It doesn't get lower... Your ego is sooo huge that you must prove to all those around you that your found something better then some other person you don't even know...

    In short, this Thread is LOL as you are all but admiting that you have to prove you beat somebody as no one else will believe you.

    1v1 is a joke.

    I stopped 1v1ing people long ago... becuase I feel terrible after and send them millions of EC worth of gear so I don't feel like a well... D bag.

    So do all your kills from mining the spawn count to OP? I should start screenshot how many times I shot your super fast corvette down with my BOP after getting tired of your antics.
    Why post about this anyway? how can you even 1v1 when you are moving so fast and can just run across the entire map in seconds so only way to fight you is with ambush.

    There is almost no fair way to 1v1 anyway unless both people are playing non cloaking ships, otherwise 1 or both have to agree to give up an integral part of their ship to make 1v1 posssible by not starting cloaked.

    Agreed. It's a lose/lose. Either one ends up feeling embarrassed for getting stomped or embarrassed for stomping someone so bad. Rarely is there ever a close match up that doesn't go on forever. Generally a bad idea with current game mechanics.
