I was discussing this on another site, and it occurred to me that a good majority of Trek fans have something in common: we collect stuff. Some like weapons, some like ships, and still others are uniform hunters. My collection is primarily Cardassian. Sure, I have a Borg sphere and one of CPT Picard's teacups (and his flute). But...none of it quite compares to my Cardassian stuff. I had a thing for Damar when I was younger -- maybe that's why? Anyway, enjoy my pics. And post your own. I always wanted to see what others collect.

This is a Maquis/Suliban phaser. It's also the weapon Damar used to kill Rusot, so I'm keeping it with my Cardassian stuff. Once I have it painted, of course.

I used to have a collection of 1970s and 1980s Star Trek novels that had a face value worth many hundreds of dollars. That was back when a new paperback sold for just a couple of bucks, not the ridiculous $15 they're selling for today. Some of the books I wore out, most I sold when I realized my then obsession was taking from important parts of my life, like schoolwork.
