I don't see a link to Podcast UGC (http://podcastugc.com). That's an oversight, since they are like on 120 episodes.

There are many podcasts that were not listed. I kept the ones that had "Foundry" in the name to give the Foundry more recognition.

OK. I just thought it might be an unintentional oversight. There are so many UGC podcasts now that it might be easy to overlook one. Granted Podcast UGC is a more general podcast these days and not really foundry-specific. Still, they do get a lot of dev interviews.

    Thanks for the response.

I had more detailed information listed for each of the podcasts originally, but by the time it was finished the blog was more than double what it is now!

The change meant many Podcasts did not get a mention, including a podcast that I'm actually a host on.

However the change to talk about what the podcasts were as a whole and where to always find the information about them seemed to make a lot more sense.

There was no editing done by Cryptic. PodcastUGC was not mentioned, along with many other podcasts, as when I included mentions of all of them, there was just too much there and I felt it did not make an interesting read.

So when I went about reworking the blog I wanted to make it more about what the podcasts are as a whole and where to find information about them. This meant I had to cut the mention of many, actually the majority of podcasts from the blog.

Apart from the podcasts that were mentioned due to information written about topics like the STLV Ent-D Bridge Project and STOked introducing me to podcasts, the remaining podcasts listed were chosen as a way to highlight some of the podcasts that are different from the majority, dare I say it, mainstream roundtable discussion podcasts.

One of the reasons for my decision to do this is that these roundtable podcasts have usually had the STO Podcasts Twitter, Facebook and Google+ account promoting them a lot more than others as these podcasts I listen to most.

There was no other reason for any other podcast not being mentioned in the blog.
I hope that this has helped explain why PodcastUGC, amongst the many others, were not mentioned by name.

I have to admit that it just seems strange.

I, of all people, have had issues with Podcast UGC (mostly for not covering the foundry and having only 1 host lately who can speak about the issues relating to UGC). But (cue McCoy voice) my god man, this was a podcast that had a 4 hour interview with Captain Geko.

They've had like 120 episodes and like a dozen dev interviews. If Priority One deserves to be there, so does Podcast UGC.

It just seems strange to not include them in a post that highlights the STO podcast community, even if they no longer really fit well with the foundry part of your article.

I originally listened to STOKED until it changed to stoked radio and now can;t be bothered to listen anymore as the dev interviews have the same questions and same vague answers from the Devs as well
