Starting the Bajor & DS 9 missions.

Seem to be asking a lot of question today, but here is another. :eek:

Eventually I want to complete the mission that rewards a BOFF that has Torpedo Spread III. In order to do that I need to start doing the various missions on DS 9 and Bajor that lead to that particular mission. However, I cannot find a npc that commences that chain. My toon is a VA and, neither Capt Kurland nor the Admiral have any missions, other than the 'Boldly to go' exploration missions, etc.

Could someone please advise me which npc I need to speak?

    Just press the "Hail Starfleet" button (The Trek symbol), and choose the mission from the mission list. You never need to actually GO to a quest giver to get a mission.

    If you can't choose the one you are looking for, then you just need to still complete the mission chain, or use the "skip" button.

    Episodes need to be completed in order. If you haven't completed all the episode arcs prior to the Dominion series, you need to complete them first. Or just skip them, you can come back to them later. Either way, you need to "resolve" those missions somehow before it opens up the Dominion ones to you. I forget what order things go for Romulans, but you'd need to at least finish your Romulan story arc, and I think maybe the Devidian arc. Also, look under the Episodes tab, it's easier to find them there than to figure out which NPC contact they fall under.

    Thanks, once more.

    The missions I'm need to complete are in the Cardassian Struggle list; however, at the moment I am unable to open even the first of that chain!

    Hi Ho.

    Reference was made above to completing all the missions before hand; was that referring to that particular episode set or all the episodes above?

    All episodes above. You can go through the list clicking the "skip" button to unlock missions up to your current level. They'll clutter up your Available list and if you have auto hail turned on they'll constantly hail you, but there's no real penalty for this.

    Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but I'd encountered what sounds to be the same issue on my Romulan. Look at the link here under postings #4 & #5 to see what I discovered. Hope that helps.
