beam weapon: antiproton or plasma?

for mainly STF, advanced fleet antiproton [acc]x2 [dmg]x2 or the romulan plasma with the experimental plasma set?

    Between those two choices, and with PvE as the goal, Romulan Plasma is far superior to the alternative.

    This. Romulan Plasma beats everything else.

    Failing that (and it is expensive) go with Disruptors.

    Sounds sound to me. Rom-Ruptors, or Nanit-Disruptors or Fleet.. for KDF, Elite Fleet Disruptors. Also mixes well with the Fleet Science mod for [Pla] -adds plasma burn proc. Its nice due to it boosting everyone's DPS, not just urs.

    Romulan plasma seems to be the best you can get atm, though be aware that a full suit of rom weapons costs around 120-240k dilithium, not counting the set to go with it. Btw: anyone else pissed at the Reman Proto set suddenly cost tons of dilithium as well? It was a FREE set and didn't get any better...
