Warehouse 13

After the season finale of Warehouse 13 I did a marathon of the episodes I hadn't already watched of season one, two and three. I'm amazed at the number of TNG, DS9 and Voyager actors as well as an actor from Torchwood and one who is now on Defiance. Great cast, great stories and great fun. Can't wait for the next season that is if they don't cancel it like Alpha's.

I just watched the season finale and saw "the final episodes" marker on the next season look. Tears.

There's gonna be one final (and smaller I think) season, then I believe the show is done. Which is a shame. While I can understand wanting to move onto other shows, I think that there's no reason why they can't make a new show from it, or perhaps continue on with a 'new group', but the same show.

Big news, Warehouse 13 fans. The show is coming back for a fifth season (for those counting, where in the middle of Season 4) in 2014. It will also be the show's final season. We'll be concluding the story of Pete, Myka and the entire Warehouse gang over the course of six episodes. How will it all end? That, loyal fans and friends, you'll have to stay tuned for.

Getting ready to watch online the final episode of season 4.

I've got to ask: when did Warehouse 13 jump the shark? I gather from some quick reading that viewers have significantly dropped off. I'm wondering if the story arc of which Brent Spiner was a part was the trigger. It was oddly different than the normal show, but I appreciated the shakeup.

The current season climactic episodes with the actors from Buffy the Vampire Slayer is actually pretty interesting. Seems a shame that Syfy always seems to go for the jugular on the most interesting shows they have. Defiance better watch its back.

Maybe someone will be kind enough to design a great Warehouse 13 game.

IMO it hasn't jumped the shark, it is going the same way as Alphas did although they at least get a few more shows and are able to have a true finale.

The viewership has dropped, I believe, in large part due to the fact that since its rebranding (from "Sci-Fi Channel" to "Syfy"), the network has been far more concerned with "reality" shows about ghosts and pro wrestling than anything to do with sci-fi. I for one grew quite weary of commercial breaks full of ghost-hunters freaking out at every tiny sound in an old house in the dark, half-naked steroid cases shouting about what they wanted to do to other half-naked steroid cases, and Jaleel White trying to look menacing in commercials for his - I think it's supposed to be a game show? Maybe?

When there was an entire block of interesting shows to watch, I could hang on through all that to see the good stuff. Now they're down to one really good show (IMO, of course), and one that (again, IMO) desperately failed to fulfill its promise. All the rest of their schedule is dreck - either the aforementioned ghost and wrasslin' shows, or bad "mockbusters" and monster flicks that make the original Godzilla look like a masterpiece of special effects and acting.

Yes, for a 6-episode wrap-up I am grateful. Having just now finished the season 4 finale, I would have been tearing my hair out had they ended on this note. And I think Syfy is nuts. This episode alone was one of the best they've ever had.

Although I didn't feel Alphas reached its full potential, it did deserve a better chance than it got.

I agree with jonsills, syfy has really lost its way. I'd be curious to see how it fares serving nothing but that "reality" garbage from now on.

Syfy channel has basically gotten one of the most terrible of all TV-diseases:

    MTV Syndrome.

Where your channel is infected by becoming little more than terrible reality shows, and what isn't terrible reality shows is little more than a shadow of the former glory it once had.

MTV USED to be about music. Nowadays you are lucky to see any music related things at all on it. Syfy used to be about science fiction stuff, now again, you are lucky to see anything like that.

I miss Sci-fi channel (not to be confused with improved Syfy channel :D) and Eureka before season 4. That is when they put them in an alternate reality and then in a virtual reality of the alternate reality.

AMC did the same, it stop showing classic American movies, but started making really good shows...it's probably the only channel to stop doing what it originally meant to do, and actually has some good TV.

unlike TLC, and Discovery.. Oh my god Discovery is the worst out of them all now it shows fake Science, and tries to pass it as real, like Mermaids or Megalodon.

at least TLC stop trying and just shows garbage.

Normally I hate FOX, but at least they are bringing COSMOS back

I might stop watching SyFy channel after Warehouse 13 finishes.

Ending that series, will be the death blow for my viewing of that channel. The appeal of the new "SyFy" for me, is nonexistent. For reasons many other posters have already said.

My advice, as another poster stated, AMC has got some pretty good shows as well. Check out "Hell on Wheels" Colm Meaney plays a character so unsavory, he would make quark envious.

Colm is good in those kind of roles. I enjoyed his boxing boss in Far and Away.

I absolutely agree, it has gone the way of the history channel, unfortunately I think good, meaningful, and deep, character/story development based television shows will cease to exist in the future, people aren't just casually gaming, they are casually watching as well (strictly IMO) and I think like in the trek universe, TV will go the way of the dinosaurs :P

All the reasons stated above, is why I have quit watching TV altogether as of like 6 or 7 years ago. I watch a very few select shows, and that's it. If someone were to ask me what's on at a certain time, I wouldn't be able to tell them if my life depended on it.

I hate reality shows. I hate multi-talent shows. I hate commercials. No one writes stories anymore, it's all the latest shock you fest,... no thank you.

When I moved to live at the foot of a small mountain, I found that analog reception was very poor, digital was surprisingly worse, and the cable fees were outrageous. So my TV is dark. It was, ultimately, a good thing. I still catch shows of interest if they have an online presence, but I've reduced the number of shows, I tend to select higher-class stuff (well, okay, Warehouse 13 might not fit "higher class". I did say "tend to"), and I'm no longer channel surfing my life away.

With several show interests ended or coming to an end, like Warehouse 13 and Clone Wars, I'm thinking of taking up art again. There's a stained glass training studio just over a mile from my house. Who knows? Maybe I'll make an artifact suncatcher.

Now SyFy has Heros of Cosplay with Yaya Han (yum) and Jason David Frank aka Tommy the Green Power Ranger ,but despite it being about Cosplayers, and some really good outfits despite the nerd vibe it's still has that Reality show format which I hate, which makes it so fake like most Reality shows. :(

Isn't it obvious? The Shore Leave Planet of the Omicron Delta region. All the strange happenings fit just right in. Who knows? The caretaker might be powered by an artifact.

But if you want better security, Talos IV with the Talosian's power of illusion, or Organia with the Organians sheer power would be the place to keep the warehouse.
