So the players who were invited to Beta Test LOR get nothing?

Thanks ever so much Cryptic you give the weekend open beta testers a reward but totally ignore those you invited to the invite only Beta Test of Legacy of Romulus. I feel so appreciated for the hours I put in testing and reporting bugs in the invite only test. Wow nice to know our efforts were appreciated thanks a bunch.

    If the only reason you took part in testing LoR was for a post-launch shiny you really need to work on your priorities.

    The reward was the honor of being selected to test LoR at all. I was and am grateful I had the opportunity to be a part of it.

    We received the pleasure of getting to see the content before anyone else, which is all that they ever promised and all that we have a right to expect.

    I would love if, as a reward for leveling a character through closed and open beta and submitting bug reports we received some special reward, like a Romulan non-combat ship pet or even, dare I proffer, a unique Romulan bridge officer, but ultimately, none of that was promised and we have no right to expect it.

    If you are unsatisfied I suggest simply not testing in the future. I am certain there will be plenty of others who will be willing to take your place in exchange for getting a sneak peak at the new content.

    Be patient people, it's probably gonna take awhile for them to add it to everyone's account.
    I tested for a few hours and don't have it yet either.

    You haven't got access to it because it's been temporarily removed. It was supposedly giving nukara marks with no cooldown.

    Promises are *working as intended* in the sense that Cryptic doesn't promise anything; if they say they will give you something, doesn't mean they will. Just be glad you get something.

    Knowing that you helped the "Production" product being better, for others and yourself, is a reward in itself.

    The original text was worded carefully enough to suggest there never were a reward for the "exclusive" pre-invite. Shouldn't have expected one.

    i did the beta test n was hoping to get a doff for my time doing there job like we did once before but No we get **** all i wont be testing any more stuff let them do there own job for once.

    The point to have people test LOR was never to spot bugs. It was to drum up suspense and spread word of mouth of LOR Content.

    there sent us E-mails saying you have been invited to TEST LOR then ignored half the reports we posted n released buged content again. so your right it was a PR stunt n not for bug hunting.

    I think there was suppose to be a reward for testing of LoR during one weekend.. not sure what happened to that. :confused:

    That's called the Tribble Test Weekend, of which the reward is always a Tribble.

    As soon as I saw the article on the main page, I knew there would be some entertaining threads expressing outrage over this display of generosity. The forum did not disappoint.

    lol u guys are hilarious. not in a good way either.

    I read some of this stuff 'n i'm like OMG do these guys realize how ridiculous they sound or are they all 14 year olds who still believe they know everything?

    i'm not talking about those that tested. i'm talking about u dimbulbs that are flaming those that complain over another tribble.

    Sorry but, i'm quite sure you're not near as smart as you seem to fancy youselves.

    I was just happy to had been selected to be part of the Closed Beta.

    I would have loved to a New Bridge Officer but hay you get what you get and you don't get upset :P

    Don't misunderstand me I am happy I was asked to pre release beta LOR I spent hours playing the rom missions and stopped only when the full release was made onto the "normal" servers. The issue I have is the fact all you had to do to get it was log into tribble for an hour and not really do anything. The weekend warriors get a goody and the core group that actually tested LOR got nothing except a thank you message. Get my drift now? The weekend warriors and we all know them they ***** and moan the most are the ones who should just get a "thanks for testing...." Easy enough to do just look at the account stats.
