Zero support across three games(maybe more)

Support from PWE is a joke, those clowns don't care about anything unless your ticket has to do with "unable to pay you for items" they kindly disregard it and go about rubbing their greedy little hands together.

Support from cryptic is well....okay in all seriousness Cryptic hasn't had a support team since before Atari.

So what can be done? I don't know. Screaming into the support forums for help is about as useful as trying to get clean in a mud bath.
Cryptic and PWE don't seem to give two ****s about actually adressing any issues that are brought up. (Unless it affects the payment system)

Submitting a ticket, gets you a novice tec reply of reset your router(insert very basic fix, anyone with half a brain would think to try) Further expanding the ticket often yeilds no replies.

Use PWEs broken TRIBBLE support center isn't even an option for most people. As our money grubbing overlords still have redirect loop errors since they took over. and Cannot be assed to fix it.

Honestly...wondering if it's time to look outside the game for support...like contacting the better business bureau and finding out what options people have to take. I have two friends now who have been unable to log in at all for nearly a whole month. I have myself paid so much money for this game, with items still not working as intended...and am wondering if its time to search for a legal solution to a company that obviously cannot get off it's TRIBBLE and adress the problems with this game, and the other games it has up.

Piece of advice cryptic. Spend less time making ****ty new MMOs, before you fix your old ones.

Sincerly.

ticked off customer, with zero support tickets responded to in the last 4 weeks.

I'm still waiting (over a month now) for PWE to do something about the "re-direct" error which is preventing me from even logging into support!

On a different note, as much as I see people hate on Norton products, I had an issue today where I couldn't log into my Identity Safe account. In sharp contrast to PWE/Cryptic, I was chatting with a live (tech) person within 2 minutes who promptly solved my issue and got me back on my way. I only wish Cryptic/PWE had support 1/10 as good as what I experienced with Symatec support today!

If that's true, what's the point of this thread?

I have to disagree with you OP. I've had support, if you can call it that.

I got told to go away and that I had no problem after waiting weeks for a reply.

I would like to make a complaint about this rude behaviour, but it appears the higher ups are so high up they can't be reached.

Yes. Cryptic and PWE don't care about their customers. Only profit. Actions speak louder than words, Dstahl.
Cryptic fixes what it wants, when it wants, and ignores everything else. The customer service is non existent. Cryptic's presence on this forum is non existent. Other than the random thread that BranFLAKE decides to close. They only respond to compliments if at all.
This is part of the main reason this is such a niche game with such a small company behind it. This is the reason STO will remain in obscurity and never rise to the level of EVE, WoW, or GW2.
They release bugged ships, bugged items, missions that can't be finished. The list goes on and on. And here we are the suckers still giving them money and logging in to their game. The funny thing is, read the reviews on Neverwinter and see the same problems STO has. Unbalanced, over priced, blatant cash grab, bugs, server stability issues, are a few things mentioned that come to mind.
Trekkies and D&D fans alike know this is not Star Trek and Neverwinter is not Dungeons and Dragons. This is Macro-transaction machine with aliens and spaceships with the beloved name Star Trek slapped on it.
Cryptic, fix this damn game and your TRIBBLE servers before you release one more ship or costume. Every time you create new content and new items to sell while tickets go unanswered and 3 year old bugs remain in game you spit in the face of the people who pay your bills.

Have you checked PWE's BBB rating?

    Do it.

All I can say.. Don't bother. You knew what you were getting into the moment you became Cryptic's/PWE's customer, considering Cryptic is among the lowest ranked companies in USA on business charts, given the worst grade in customer relations for over 3 years now, with warnings about customer misinformation, deception and possible fraud. They know very well what they are doing, and don't care whatsoever as long as there are other fools dumping money into their low quality products.

You play any of their games AS delivered on going live/update/patch/expansion day, do not expect bugfixes or stuff to happen. If you encounter any, best suggestion many have already given here on forums is to make a new account/character and go dump more of your hard-earned money into this bottomless well (that is the intention, actually).

    Enjoy.

I just want to take this opportunity to point out the fallacy to this claim you're making here.
Lately it seems that they can't get their act together even if you have problems giving them money. :D For example, I've been trying to maintain my subscription for over a month now and it's seems they can't even figure out how to do that. And that affects payment system.
In this time of capitalism we live in, it's hillarious that they can't even figure out how to charge you or keep customers subscribed. lol :D I don't know who's runing the show, but something is very wrong here.

    Do it.

    Currently, it's a "B" on a scale of A to F.

You really wanna know the answers you seek?
Let me gift you with some insight.

There is no Cryptic anymore. Aside from a couple PR guys, 3 part time actors for photo ops and conventions, maybe 2 techs on loan from pwe staff.
    There Is No new content.
Everything we see coming in as "new content" has been previously programmed, set to be released upon a predetermined time table. Billed as part of the package when cryptic sold out to PWE.

That's why there is no support, that's why the bug fixes are few and far between.

Its not that the game isn't supported either fanboi's.
Plenty of dough is dumped into ridiculous terribad drop rates on lockboxes and doff packs. if nothing else.
The upkeep is minimal. Its literally one room in a 3 bedroom apartment with a few server stacks and a big ac unit.

    Just sayin.

Yeah now check Cryptic Studios, oddly, an F.
Not sure how any of this matters but even if Cryptic is being run by PWE, you can't expect a better result than the actual doers can manage.

Lol things like this make me think back to people like the Grand Nagus (forum poster), He kept spouting that PWE and F2P would be great, the game would get better and better, how the influx of new players would be great and would give us loads of new content like more regular FE's and all the "micro transactions" (nothing micro about them) would pay for all that content. He took their word on everything and defended them until he somehow got him self banned.

PWE do not care, they are hear to make money and in a capitalist world they are doing nothing wrong, that's what private companies are for, to extract as much money from your wallet as possible and re-invest as little as possible for maximum profits. Support costs money, looks like that's where they are saving some cash.
How I picture a lot of the forumites :P

Still zero ticket replies, and nothing. Not surprised, these guys just don't give a crud.
