Please Remove Stacking Bonuses

The only weapon anyone uses now is Romulan Plasma thanks to stacking bonuses. THis is imbalancing the game. I really hope that Cryptic will consider removing the stacking bonuses as it would allow me and everyone else to be flexible with which weapons they want to choose.

    lol, if everyone only used romulan plasma weapons, that would be GREAT! i would only have to bring an stf or res B shield and anti plasma armor into pvp. you know, react just a tiny bit.

    the fleet advanced acc2dam2 weapons are more dangerous then rom plasma anyway. and not so damn dil expensive

    Almost nobody uses plasma and u wan't to nerf plasma? lol

    If u are having problems with plasma, take an maco resilent shield and done, 30% constant resist to plasma.

    Plasma stacking an issue.... everyone runs it...

    First thing you got wrong: I run an entirely antiproton setup. And it works pretty darn well. As in, very well.

    I think the OP is squirting tears because he was not properly fit out to resist Plasma and ran afoul of my Fleet Ha'feh Microwave build (Romulan Plasma DHC's Rom Hyper Torp Forward Rom Plas Turrets and Experimental Beam Aft) and all the consoles and boffs to get the most burn for the buck.... dude... less QQ more PEW PEW.....

    but seriously I have a GOOD Rom Plasma Build, but the minute I put on the Advanced fleet disruptors in their place the build gets WAY better

    I usually complain about PvP players, but I'd like to thank you all for creating a new profit opportunity thanks to your newly found strategy against Romulans.

    Ult's post made me wonder if perhaps it wasn't a troll thread - just a misplaced thread. I know Rom Plasma spammage helps one of my guys almost always get 1st in SB24...

    ...in PvP though, it's far too easy for it to be neutered.

    Its easy for you to remove the stack, with hazzard emitters.

    In pve however yes it is pretty powerful, my scimitar using Romulan plasma DHC and turrets, elite scorps,hyper torp, beam and console set, and 3 plasma embassy consoles and 5 plasma infusers puts out pretty crazy dps with all the stacks it gets, almost guranteed wins on SB24 and Crystal entity elite, Neghvars melt in seconds. Tarantula on azure usually only lasts 15-20 secs with me solo, always dead before APA is out.

    Hrmm, I thought the OP was talking about available stacking bonuses and not stacked DoTs.

    Plasma Infuser Tac Consoles.
    Romulan Threat-Scaling Science Consoles with the [Pla] mod.
    2pc Romulan Singularity Harness set bonus.

    Compared to other energy types generally being the Tac Consoles and the odd +7.6% from a 2pc.

    Yep, that part is kind of unclear.

    Not sure but I guess it is all tied together because stacking all of those items boosts both the dps of the plasma weapons and the proc, then gets even more ridiculous as the proc stacks more. Its almost like I have 6 tac consoles and they are all buffing the dot lol.

    Anybody know, btw, if the [Pla] DoT can proc from a R-Tet bounce?
