Hi all. I just got out of a 6 week stay in hospital. I had really bad pneumonia that almost killed me. When I felt well enough to log on, my Diplomacy missions had obviously completed. Five of 6 missions were critical successes giving me the final 4k xp I needed to make Envoy and First Contact missions and the ability to Transwarp to starbases. I really like that and it brightened my day. Its sometimes the little things that do. Thanks to STO, Cryptic, and the late Gene Roddenberry for the fun. Now checking out the the Romulans and all the new graphics :D

    That's pretty fortunate and lucky.

Also, it's nice to hear that you're okay.

Welcome back and good to hear you're getting better!
Pneumonia is something you rather do not want to have..

Good luck and enjoy life! :)

    Nerf is OP, plz nerf
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

I call it, the Stoutes paradox.

Thanks all. Yeah I agree, pneumonia is NOT something you want to have. I wished for Trek medicine many times during the many blood tests.

    I know how you feel.
I have/had some serious diseases myself. Trek medicine would be nice to have, or at least a EMH. ;)

All the best to you, and get well soon.

Nothing truer has been said. I originally started playing STO while in the hospital after my first heart attack.

Now, if I can just get Dr. Crusher to put in an artificial heart. (Not a big Pulaski fan)

I remember a story about how Gene Roddenberry was visited by government agents who wanted to know how he had acquired secret intelligence: turns out they were working on a diagnostic bed similar to Star Trek. Wonder what became of that?
