Species Kits?

I was just wondering if we can ever get the oppertunity to get Species kits. In genreal, I would just like my Gorn to bite without the trait, throw rocks, use melle Gorn skills, etc even maybe including some Science things Gorn can do as well (like make tricorders explode LOL.)

It can be the same with things like Orions with Seductivity, etc etc and things with other races as well... it be kind of like "Racial Atributes" that cna be used in combat.... adn I wont get on about FED kits.. cause there is SO MANY FE RACES! Anyway, post down below!

    I love this idea.

    Aliens might be difficult to incorporate, however.

    Hmm.... we can get those telepathic abilites for sure... and maybe we can do things that buff you for a short while that makes you close to other races? Like you get more strength with a Gorn Kit Ability for a short time?

    I wonder what kit there would be for Humans.... Infact....

    If you ahve Kit Ideas for Races, Post Below.

    I think i would rather see custom kits once you hit the max level in crafting, a kit that allows you to put in whatever five(like the embassy kits) abilities you want. This would allow us to pick abilities that better suite our characters or playstyle as well as lend to the species kit ability.



    For me personally though my Main is an Augment based around melee combat, so i think a Kit based around that would need:

    Lunge III

    Sweeping Strikes IV

    Ambush III

    Motion Accelerator III

    Battle Stratagies II

    OP, I like you, I really do, you're extremely persistent in advocating for more Gorn stuff, and stuff in general...so, I will honor you with my idea for a 4-power Gorn Species kit.

    Throw Rock III (Ala the really big dudes that rip up the ground, forgot their specific name)

    Claw Lunge III (Like S'taass did in the 2800 cutscene, complete with epic leap and all)

    Harden Scales III (Give the Gorn the ability to temporarily harden their natural defenses, giving them all around Resistance)

    Reptilian Senses (+Perception, Small all around damage boost)

    Not bad eh?

    They just redid the Trait system... I'd rather see them expand on that than create "species" kits.

    That "Throw Rock" thing would make a dandy special trait for Gorn. Bite is already a Gorn trait.

    That said, I wouldn't mind seeing Targ/Saur Handling as a kit power.

    I'm really hoping they didn't just drop that off and forget about it, i recall reading in an ask cryptic or something that they planned on making it so you could upgrade traits as well as adding a lot of new ones. I personally would love to upgrade the main traits that i have.



    To keep on topic though i would hope that species kits, if ever inacted, would have a cool visual style based on that Species.

    I wanted to do that since I saw Targ Handlers as Klingon NPCs, I think it would be pretty awesome. Like the ground version of carriers.
