I'm a Logistics officer (Person who helps manage fleet holdings) for a fleet of 500 people. With the new fleet holdings, new and exciting consoles and warp cores are going available for everyone to get their hands on with one small exception (Which turns out is a HUGE problem).
The Provision Trade Supplies project only grants 5 provisions at a time. I understand that you (the game developer) can't give out a bunch of provisions for each project, but 5 for a large fleet is nothing. We will have 20-30 people waiting to snag these up when the project completes, and It will be that way for quite some time.
There is a simple remedy. If you would please increase the number of provisions given from these projects from 5 to 15 or 20, I and MANY others would be extremely grateful.
Was noticing that issue to, another solution would be to add the 30min dil provisioning project like the embassy and starbase have. It should cost 100k dil like the embassy quick provisioning project and provide 5 provisions. For a large fleet that needs the provisions running a few 100k dil projects is no big deal, an extra 20k dil per person that wants a warp core. Don't know why these projects seem to have been left out.
It seems like the quickies were mysteriously omitted, but note that a higher number of provisions is dispensed per project at higher levels of provisioning. Provisioining I may only grant 5 provisions, but provisioning II will grant 8 and III wil grant 10.
Since it is physically impossible to have achieved T3 at this point, there's nothing worth buying anyway. I suggest you tell your people to stop being so impatient because their constant demands to squander fleet supplies on worthless garbage are impeding construction. Provisioning projects pay TRIBBLE XP, and if you do the math, you'll notice that the mine holding XP tiers are calibrated for running 1700 of a thing per day, switching when you hit the tier upgrade...anything else will result in wasted XP on arrival and lost time, especially for large fleets.
Worth noting, however, is that Provision II has a superior rate of return in terms of provisions per resource.
The way to avoid the issue is to do a bunch of provisioning before you complete the mine interior. That way you stock up on provisions before having access to the store.

That's a start but for a large fleet doesn't cut it. It takes 5 days to unlock the interior, thats 25 provisions at this ridiculously slow pace, with a 500 member fleet that didn't even last a day.
WTH? Seriously your gimping the provisions on the dilitium mine cryptic?
Its not bad enough you gimped the romulan marks, or the nakura marks (Yes gimped, players can farm em like omega marks in a queue and get the same kind of rate, known issue)
Now we endure more gimping... yey cryptic for Star Trek Farmville... thanks much...
Next thing ya know... we'll have a Fleet Farm holding and have to grow food to cook food for buffs...

im still looking at ways to improve it, But its a trading post
that has the ability to generate all types of fleet provisions
from doing special trade DoFF missions
I don't know why provisioning projects are tied to tier anyway. There should be provisioning projects of various sizes available at all tiers. Large fleets can run expensive projects that grant many provisions, and small fleets can run cheap projects that grant few provisions.
