Off Duty Clothing Issue

xstaythirstyxxstaythirstyx Member Posts: 51 Arc User
My apologies for posting on a very very old thread, it was a result of a google search. Reason I am opening this thread is because I recently purchased the formal wear at the CStore, when I headed for the tailor to don the new duds, the option to switch to formal wear is greyed out, despite the formal wear purchase.

Anyone having this issue?

Is it a BUG?

or is there a NEW way to access uniforms?

you have to "create" a new outfit in a second or third slot, and change it to off duty before you go tinkering with your outfit.

If my experience yesterday is any indication, you may also have to save and edit the outfit five or six times before the game decides it's in the mood to let you use the Uniform>Off-Duty dropdown menu.

I just found the drop down menu to switch to off-duty clothing: At the tailor you need to to go to modify, and then you need to click the head-icon (below-right), at that screen you can find the drop down menu to switch to off-duty clothing. Had a hard time finding it too. Only thaks to a player on-line i found it. Could be so much easyer

June 3rd Tribble server patch notes: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=778671
Creating an off duty costume slot no longer requires the player to create a standard costume slot then convert it.

It seems they may have a fix for it but it probably won't go live until next week.

I had this problem. Some nice folks here on the boards showed me how to fix it.

    1) The lower left corner of the tailor shop shows you how many available unused costume slots you have. You may have two already, if not, go buy 2 more from the zen store.

    2) Go to "create". It will be stuck on "uniform" when you first look at the window. Don't worry about that. Once you create a new costume slot, you will then be able to toggle to off-duty outfit.
    His methods have become unsound.
