Don't know how you could make it any bigger a joke for a HUGE ship with no more room than an tiny escort carrier.
I also have to ask myself how its pets will work copying hostile ships appearance when fighting say a cube or a gate?
My first thought about that is I'd rather have 2 dps hangar bays but we'll have to see, maybe you will be allowed to spawn 6 pets who all turn into tactical cubes

I'll fathom a guess and say:
They will appear as the weakest ship of that 'faction'.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.

Maybe being allowed to do short bursts of fire while cloaked in pvp could be fun enough.
But you will still give your position away to much faster ships.
For eSTF sure enough you get an additional front weapon but at the expense of a full hangar bay...
As a dedicated eSTF afk carrier grinder I can tell you I rely on my pets to move in and clean up and a 5000 zen shield console does nothing for me.
I love my Reman, it has taken over my fed as my main, and i cant wait for the scimitar. I will reserve judgement of if it needs nerfing once i have actually used it. But looking at the specs and the consoles.....it looks mighty. Maybe a bit too mighty.
If you have the right setup of Romulan faction boffs, this ship should be insane for you....insaaaaaaaaaaaane.
Cloak.....uncloak.....ambush for 22 seconds with 5 dual beams on 20%+ crit, 90% crit severity and 5 tac consoles.....and increased turn rate. Re-cloak.....with full shields so no damage.
Wait 6 seconds....
Rinse and repeat. If you get bored you can try a BO III while cloaked!
The only weakness i can see is the turn rate, have to see how much the 2 set console bonus increases it by.

It needs to be nerfed because if someone accidentally presses the Thalaron button they'll destroy all life on earth.:P
Maybe you guys forget how long the theta weapon takes to activate. It probably cant do anything during that time. It probably can be cancel by sci skills like photonic shockwave. It may work great with slow moving or stationary target but hardly in pvp since every1 fly around like crazy. Some of the console ability may sound op... but we can never know in real pvp until proven. Slow moving ships are just a big easy target in pvp. Carrier's pets can be wipe out in 1 single snoop with the right weapon/skill. The only case, the theta may hit a player, is when he is locked in tractor beam and cant break free.
** not talking about pve since every1 can just sit at 1 spot and shoot.
I foresee a lot of Thalaron Radiation Clouds in the weeks to come from peeps trying to fire off that thing.
yeahhh, I'm warning all my fleet that scimitar pilots should keep their thalerons charged because i expect Starfleet Dental will be having a good roe with this one..

Although, 2 carriers and a turn rate identical to the Vo'Quv would have been a better route to go IMO.

BoPs
Etc

Dont forget it has a shield strength of 150k with a regen of 55k every 6 seconds.
Base turn speed of 26 and an impulse modifier of 10.
