    It does look like that ship could be named "Itch" as in the Itch you can never scratch. But being that I flew BOPs, this ship is not really that new to me. I am sure you felt similar. When Scimitar comes out, you will have to see if one is better then the other.

    But I think I will pass on that ship. I love my cloak too much.

    Are Life-preservers required when piloting this thing?

    How would you compare the Risan Corvette to the Breen Chel Grett Warship from last Winter Event? Granted they're apples and oranges but would you say they're balanced in their respective performance or do you think the Corvette has a bit of an edge?

    So, I'm flying a BoP on my KDF toon, but can fly escorts. My next ship will be a Fleet Mogai, and I'll be treating it as a decloak-alpha striking escort, kind of a "bite hard and don't let go" sort of approach.

    Would this ship be any better than either of those?

    better? probably not. different for sure. both ships you mention have a cloak, so that's already apples and oranges.

    it is surely a very good 10 console slot, 21 degree turnrate escort...so it is a great ship, and free too.

    i personally stay in my fleet mogai anyway...

    I would say they are balanced. Oddly the vette has the slight eng bias in boffs and the breen has the sci. Speed and defense are so strong that you may favor the vette in PVP, but there's no compelling reason to NOT use the breen.

    PVE there are some events that favor fast ships that can cover distances between objectives quickly. And then there's the low movement dps races that could favor the breen. Remember you're looking at the same consoles, same tac boffs, breen has an extra rear wep slot. Maybe not much, but in a Borg STF that could be a cutter or an extra mine, and in some STF's that's darn useful.

    If you're F2P these are both must have ten console ships.

    And so far as know the free ships haven't gotten new interiors. At least mine didn't!

    Man, for some reason, that red paint makes it remind me of a lobster claw.

    Can't wait to get it....eventually. (No way am I grinding that much lobi!)

    The speed of the ship does make it seem like a cool ship. But I just can't bring my self to wanting to fly a Speed boat in space.. :P

    Ya makes you zoom and makes the guys behind you take dmg and not go zoom.

    Its nice for clearing mine spam and cluster torps.
