Fleet Varanus: No Fleet Ship Material?

Has anyone heard when they plan to fix this? All the Klingon fleet ships get a new type of material, but the Gorn Varanus does not.

    I don't think there's even a hint out there we might get a fleet material.
    But my gut feeling tells me that should we ever get a fleet material, Cryptic will most likely decide to add it along with the missing Gorn retrofits...whenever that might be.

    What does the fleet material do? I think only fleet Klingon ships get it, I don't believe the Fleet Corsair or the Scourge get it either.

    As much as fleet ships cost, *all* fleet ships should come with it, including the Orion and Nausicaan ships, IMHO.

    I don't know about the Orion ships, as I do not own one (yet...pretty tempting), but even the Veteran skin doesn't work with the Varanus. It has no options available...not even skin or windows. It's a shame, considering what a beautiful ship Cryptic made.

    I *did* notice, however, that the skin on the Varanus looks a bit better than it used to; like they cleaned up the textures a bit...which is why I was curious if I had missed some sort of hint about the fleet skin/material.

    Agreed. The Corsair I believe you can change the windows, but as far as I can tell you can't change anything else. Even changing colour, which you can do, don't actually appear to change anything. The only thing that changes appearence are certain ship sets like the borg gear.

    There is a way to change the textures. But I think it violates the user agreement so I don't dare post it on here.

    Lets just say the Corsair looks alot better and more accurate to cannon with the Romulan skin on it.
