No sunglasses option on my Ferengi

culatoriculatori Member Posts: 50 Arc User
I bought the Risian Sunglasses (small round) for my Ferengi toon but the option to use them isnt showing up under the tailor. The log confirmed that I'd bought them, opened the pack and had a new option unlocked but the off-duty (or any uniform slot) for my toon only lists the Mercenary eye-patches as eye-attach options and nothing at all if I untick the show unowned costume parts.
Just to make things more confusing, I saw another Ferengi toon with the visor type sunglasses on a few hours earlier so I assumed that sunglasses worked on Ferengis.

I have logged the character out and restarted the game to no avail.

I have had this same problem with (the same I think) sunglasses!! - I tried Uniform, Formal and Off Duty, U tried getting rid of the Ferengi Head covering (on the back of the head just in case that was interfering somehow) but still no luck here either.

Lohlunat Favors may also be traded in at a special terminal in the Resort, in exchange for Gold-Pressed Latinum. This same terminal will also be offering new costume options perfect for the sunny beaches of Risa ? eyewear that resembles the protective Sunglasses seen in use by the locals and other visitors. These Sunglasses will also be available for purchase wherever Gold-Pressed Latinum is traded, but will not be available for purchase once the Summer Event has concluded. (NOTE: Due to facial geometry limitations, this eyewear cannot be worn by Caitian, Ferasan, Saurian or Gorn captains. We apologize for the inconvenience.)

I did put in a bug report, but I think the bug report system is broken as no ticket I've ever raised since I started 2 years ago appears in the "Your tickets" list.

I have since found A) there is a Ferengi toon with the wraparound shades (Domink, didnt catch his fleet and he didnt respond to a PM but definitely a player not NPC), and B) The shades are unlocked for my toon's Bridge Officers - except the Ferengi and Saurian ones of course.

Can't use them on my Ferengi, too. I filed a bug report.

In the description of the item, there's a list of species that can't use the sunglasses. Ferengi may be one of them. I know for sure Gorn, Saurians, and Ferasans/Caitans can't use them.

Mercenary eye-patches? Where did you get those?
