The Big Year Bird Locations Revealed (Risa Map)

Well, here you go folks... happy bird watching!

There are 10 birds to find for the accolade.

    I was just looking to see if there was a map someone made... I found 90% of the birds before it occured to me that there might be an accolade.

    I hated searching for those damn things. Don't show up on map, tricorder doesn't find them & can't /target them! :mad:
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    You are all very welcome.

    Once you have the locations from the map I provided, it should be easy to spot them when in the general area anyway - although it is definitely easier to see them at night ;)

    Is there some sort of special order to get the Vista birds? I have found all 10 and never get anything saying I got the accolade for it? What am I doing wrong?

    Did you click "Enjoy the View" at each of the locations? You'll hear the "objective complete" sound the first time you do so for each bird.

    After the tenth bird, I was notified that I had unlocked the "Ornithologist" title, and I eventually found "The Big Year" exploration accolade checked off as well.

    I am kinda new at this, can you tell me where you find what accolades you have done? Where does it show them "checked off"?

    It was a nice surprise to find these and thanks for the locations. I can now find the ones I missed :D

    Still, it is a rip off of Guldwars2 ;)

    on the log screen, click the accolade tab, you can then sort the accolades by completed or incomplete to see which one's you've done. Some are hidden though, so they will only appear when you finish the accolade.

    Any chance anybody has found all the locations Pavyl hides every night on Risa?

    1st time - the back of the cave you have to fly into during 'flying high'

    2nd - under one of the natural stone arch-bridge things (just fly at ground level, you can't miss him)

    3rd - Still looking, but my gut instinct is one of those islands in the middle of nowhere (I get way too sidetracked by horcrux hunting..)

    The third is at the North lighthouse. Go to the top of the lighthouse, then facing north he will be just a few meters away.

    The fourth is inside the Grotto (the cave in the "river"), also near the North lighthouse.

    I made a map of all the accolades I found on Risa hope it is not too busy for people to understand

    Edit: made a correction of one of the accolade names.

    Thank you very much. I bookmarked the page. I was hoping someone who has the skills to do that would map a map of the accolade locations. :)

    no problem took me about 2 hours to do but I figured some would like to have an idea where to find all the accolades

    just incase people are not aware of this for the pavyl accolades you have to talk to him during the day and find him at night

    I've got them all except the Fireworks...

    I keep missing it somehow.

    Park your toon on the beach infront of the resort everytime it starts getting dark and wait. eventualy you will get it. Oddly enough I got that accolade before i did anything on Risa, beamed down and then the fireworks started before i could get the boardwalk accolade.

    yes, fireworks are VERY random, most of the time you'll get it without even knowing it's there.
