Looking for a Fleet

Hello STO! I am looking for a fleet to join. First, a little about me and then a little about what I'd ideally like to find in a fleet.

I've been playing since launch
I primarily play a Fed Engineer and a Romulan Sci. I have a LG Klingon and a few other alts I use very rarely.
I primarily play PVE but have nothing against PVP or RP.
I'm Central time zone and primarily play in the evening after the kid goes to bed. But do work from home so sometimes log in for a little bit during the day, though usually just to run some DOFF missions.
I'm always happy to help people with builds as I've tried a wide range of ships but don't think there is a "right" way to play other than what you enjoy.
I like chatting with people in game but will almost never use a voice chat system. For particular missions, I might hop in but never just to chat

Now, as for what I'm ideally looking for. This isn't a check list of requirements, just my preferences.

A small to medium fleet. I don't like large groups where nobody knows each other.
A friendly and mature group.
I don't mind a group with contribution requirements before getting Starbase purchase permissions but only if its actually possible to donate. This plays into the size of the fleet mainly. I've earned more than 12mil Fleet Credits (and then subsequently spent pretty much all of that on DOFFs to donate) so I'm happy to contribute.
A group that is actively working on their base and interacting with each other. I want people to talk to and a group to work together with to advance a starbase.
A group with no mandatory participation requirements. I like events and doing things with the group, but can't commit to particular times very often.
A group without drama. I just want to play a game with cool people.

Hi there I believe we would be a perfect match for you. We are Liberty Task Force at www.libertytaskforce.com. Yesterday was our 2 month anniversary and we are 1 day from completing Tier III shipyard. Our Embassy is going to Tier II and Dilithium Mine is going to Tier I. We are active 18+ community with a good ranking system based on contributions and activity level. We have TeamSpeak 3 but not required. We do PvE and PvP and trying to start up some RP. We are medium sized about 200 on roster some are Alts of course and we do not have roll calls or any hoops to jump over.

I am posting, of course, in reponse to your search for a new fleet and to promote the 5th Special Operations Division.

Firstly, we are an RP fleet. That being said, we incorporate many aspects of PvE into our storyline as well. We are a smallish-medium group of players that are mature (one of our founding principles) that enjoy chatting socially as well as engaging our characters in RP scenarios.

I won't go heavy into detail about our fleet, as you can find all the related information on our forum thread, or better yet, our fleet website.

Good evening. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. We are a small but great fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but that?s part of what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game and in some cases RL. We have a fleet TeamSpeak3 server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast (USA), Canada and the EU.

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so therefore when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL too. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and that some time is needed to sort things out.

So please, think about joining and moving with us into 2409 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.

Greetings from The Mak'Tar!

Just to add to your list for consideration I'd like to offer you an open invitation if you would be interested in becoming a part of our growing family. We are based off the movie Galaxy Quest which is a Star Trek parody and a highly recommended film to watch.

We're a very laid back fleet that looks to offer a mature and relaxed environment with no drama for all our members. Communication is one of our biggest policies and we offer an open door policy to all members, so if you have a problem, suggestion or an idea to help the fleet improve in any aspect we are here to listen and help.

We run regular events for all our members with prizes to be won and have no strict requirements to log on so many hours per week. If you need to take a break we have a Risa Shore Leave thread which you can post in and we'll add you to the "Risa Shore Leave" group until you want to come back.

We have members across the US, Canada, UK and the rest of Europe ranging from 18 to 50 years old and currently at about 50+ members. We also offer many fleet roles in the fleet if there is anything to your liking that you would like to take part in. Working together as a family/team is a big priority for us and of course having fun and a laugh in game/on Mumble!

Hi maarkean,

Just as everyone else i too would like to offer you a place in our fleet Starfleet Task Force 1 We are a very new fleet but the response that we have received has been amazing.

The fleet is only two weeks old and within that time we have managed to get everyone of our holding up to tier 1. We currently have just over 100 members from all over the world and all English speaking. Everyone i must say is very friendly, mature and more than happy to help someone out if they need it.

The system in the fleet is that nobody is forced to do something they don't want. It is totally up to every member how involved they want to be. Everyday all the members talk to each other through the chat window and we also have access to a voice server if people want to use it. If any of this interests you then you are more than welcome, and if you do find that the fleet is not to your liking then of course you may leave at any time with no hard feelings.

P.S. If you do have any questions then please feel free to ask. Also we have both Federation and Romulan members in our fleet.

Hey maarkean!

I'd love for you to consider our fleet, Patientia Sanctimonia. Like you, I've been playing pretty much since launch, and it took a while for me to find a fleet that was a good fit. Patientia has been that for me.

We're a small group at present (about 20 members), so there's a lot of one-on-one interaction. We currently have a tier 3 Shipyard and are working on a tier 3 Starbase, so there's still plenty of room to donate to fleet projects and help us grow -- making progress on our Starbase and other fleet projects is our #1 priority. We have a KDF sister fleet, Ultionis Sanctimonia, so any and all of your alts are welcome, and we have a custom cross-faction chat channel so we can all chat whenever we want.

Our fleet mainly consists of people from North America, so time zones shouldn't be a problem, and we have absolutely no participation requirements -- the fleet was founded on the principal of bringing together casual players, and we will never stray from that mandate (though we may occasionally put together optional group events). We have a Raid Call voice communications channel, but participation in that is completely optional.

Hey There Maarkean

I wish you every luck in finding a home amongst the stars, let me tell you a little about SSO. We may be a right fit for you, we may not but I will give you the knowledge anyway so that you have lots more information to make an informed choice *grins*

SSO Fleet is a small fleet and we were founded with one thing in mind, to make the players more important than the game it's self. Where community stood for something. We have been open for just over two months since then and we have made good on all our promises.

We have around 50 members, all very close and most of us know each others real names and know who people are to talk to. If you chat a lot you will find a very friendly, open group fo people with male and female members. Be aware we are 16 rated because we don't see a need to limit fleet chat. We will talk about ANYTHING....

We only have one rule, don't be a douche, other than that we leave your play time entirely up to you, there are no obligations at all, no activity checks. If you want to group with us you are entrirely welcome all activities are done for fun, we run frequent contests for prizes.

And our fleet base is level 2, and how we sort provisions is that we have open projects anyone can contrivbute to, these provisions are givne to fleet members regardless of if they have contributed or not, however if someone wants a lot of provisions all at once, we put a project up, they can fill it themesleves and then all those provisions belong to them.

We find this works for us as then people don't have to contribute to the star base, however those that do dicates what they get out of it, and most of our projects are mainly progression experience ones rather than provisions.

We are more interested really in finding nice people who like us, and want to hang with us, not in progressing or becoming the biggest fleet.

We have a professional website, forums, and mumble server as well as custom origional graphics open to our members.

Other than that we are casual, laid back, sometimes naughty, group of people just looking for fun from our game.

Hey Sorry I'm apparently a little late to the game.

All of your points and concerns are the main basis of the 88th Fleet. We have about 150 Characters in our Fed fleet, which works out to about 20-30 active members.

We do have a minimum donation requirement before purchases but our starbase is still growing (tier 4) and the officers always ensure to have projects queued.

We do not require attendance at fleet events but try to have them most nights including our own Hide and Seek event once a every couple months. We primarily use mumble and our website a our form of communication.

Our most active time is around 6-11pm Central

We are a 21+ Fleet, I purposely do not use the word mature as it can become a locker room atmosphere fairly quick some nights.
