Is there a difference between Beachcomber/Explorer for males?

Now that they both include the shirt, I was just wondering. Seems like there'd be no point in opening Beachcomber on a male if it's the same as Explorer.

I think that the Beachcomber gives you the option of bare feet, too.

So there's no reason to get the Explorer at all now.

I bought the beachcomber thinking it didn't come with a shirt (or at least had a shirless option) and bare feet.

Now I'm standing on the beach in a shirt with boots on! I feel deceived by their description picture

I think it's just shorts vs. rolled-up pants.

I think the pants are a little shorter, and probably have the bare feet option.

There is a difference. In the store, right click the outfits and an info window pops up. The info window has a preview of what the outfits look like. This works for Lobi store outfits, and outfit boxes in the exchange. :)

Yeah but the Explorer pants bottoms were faded out. In general, I have a hard time getting much from the Info window previews.

I went ahead and opened the Beachcomber. Not sure about getting Explorer during the event. Thinking about getting the Epic jetpack.

I think the big thing I'm holding out for is to know if jetpacks will work on Risa outside the event.

Once you have the Beachcomber outfit, you have to choose the right 'pants' under Off-Duty to get the proper one. For my main (female), it was the knee-length one or something, despite going nowhere down that far.

Once that was chosen, an option for bare feet became available too.

I'm assuming it works this way for males, too.

On my Liberated Borg Romulan, I have invisible legs and no barefeet options.

One nice feature is that custom aliens get a two toes and a claw option in place of regular feet. Would be nice to see a three fingered option for hands.

Exactly! I completely wasted favours thinking I would only get the shorts and get a bare chested option. The bare feet are nice though.
