Hello all!

Just started playing the game two weeks ago an I'm quite addicted. I can't play as much as I'd like these days, but I am still having a lot of fun playing in the Star Trek universe. I even got one of my friends to start and he's passed me up in levels already!

Hope to see you in game! Flying under the name O'Kane in the USS Osprey (for now). I will be the one asking lots of questions. :)

Welcome to STO, tyambur! Glad you're having fun with the game. I'll definitely keep an eye out for you, and drop by and say hello.

Or blow you into dust, depends which character I'm playing as ;)

Thanks for the well wishes and welcomes! Still having a blast with the game and getting less confused as time goes on. Went with the lifetime subscription since i see myself putting in quite a bit of time.

    See you in game!

The withdrawal symptoms of this game are worse than the withdrawal symptoms of all other addictive activities and substances combined. Get out while you still can. Once you become a Trekkie, there is no turning back.

Same here! I only started playing this game a few days ago and I'm already hooked! I always enjoyed the Startrek universe but this game has been a real revelation to me! I also just love the ship customizations and the uniforms. :D

Welcome aboard! I love sci-fi and I enjoy Star Trek. I migrated from City of Heroes after they closed and its the only MMO I play. It IS addictive and somehow that is tempered when you get to 50 because you can't level anymore. BUT ... the game is truly huge with so much to do!

Here is my advice: don't do any one thing all the time. That's called "grinding". Although various in-game projects require a lot of a particular resource (Dilithium, Romulan Marks, etc.), please don't think you must HAZ IT NAOW! Given time and patience you will have everything you want.

Yeah same here. I've been playing since Day 1 and I never stopped... for long. I think the only other game I played for such a long time was EQ, I'm still playing EVE now and then but STO is my favourite. Since I played mainly on the KDF side (still do with my new Romulan chars) the first few years were tough. It was nearly impossible to get an STF group going. But now, there is always something to do when you log on.

    See you around the Galaxy!
