Borg V. everyone else PvP

Heres an Idea, how about a borg verses everyone else PvP, 1 player chooses to play as Borg and uses a tactical cube with 6 sphere pets and that player tries to kill 5 players 15 times while not dying the same amount or maybe 5 or 10 times whatever it balances out to. same abilities as an elite tac cube has with cooldowns, basicly an ESTF tac cube the player controls only during the event then its back to KDF or Fed once it is over. No adding different weapons or consoles, no BOFF's, just a plain Tac cube that cant be customized lol.

It could be a 6 person public qeue where one is randomly assimilated and everyone else tries to kill you if you are the lucky/unlucky player, or a private match where someone chooses to be the borg. Both KDF and Fed qeues together.

I think it would be fun to be the borg for 20-30 minutes since we wont be getting them as a faction most likely.

    well that might be fun but the might have buff the borg a bit

    I mentioned something similar to this once relating to make a PvP only Borg faction. I think there are enough liberated Borg running around without making a whole faction of them, so I'd rather have a level 50 PvP only Borg faction with a PvP mode that is similar to what you said.

    Yeah the cube would need a buff to hull and shields but I dont think it would need a whole lot considering it would be 15 kills either way and against a team of just tacs in escorts a tac cube with a human piloting could whipe them out in no time with the shield drain and concentrate fire on just 1 at a time while the pets play with another, pets soften the next target while the tac cube concentrates all on another could be 2 to 1 K/D ratio. Definatly would need some testing to get the balance right but I dont think it would take much tweaking to be right.

    As for a PvP only borg faction i cannot see that happening anytime soon. thats allot of work for little gain as pvP is not the big money maker for MMO games they would need to add everything thats available now but for the Borg faction, thats allot of consoles and special weapons to do. My suggestion of a single cube that uses exhisting weapons and no consoles or other items needed would be simple compared for the devs to do since there is no new artwork aside from the buttons in the tray thats needed.

    hardest part would be adding the qeue part and the temp faction but I think it would be worth it since it is a cross between PvP and PvE, enemy is a player but the ship and skills are the same as an NPC(with some balance tweaks). So PvE players who do not like unbalanced competition and overly competitive players with bad attitudes can do PvP that feels like PvE.

    Something to think about and something that could be great fun for players. Happy players are players who spend money! Could be the STO version of "Monster play" that LOTRO has. Start with 1 tac cube and evolve into imadoctornota's idea of a PvP only faction.

    You be dreaming :) I want an all shuttle pvp zone and Romulans to have there own faction not 70% fed romulans Lol they need there own faction and not squeezed in between 2 , so now you want borg vs fed/rom vs borg against klingon/rom and have an alliance between fed/rom and klingon/rom to work against borg only lol you got to be joking or dreaming to think that will ever happen , in trek shows rom fought fed & rom fought klingon , klingon fought anyone , and fed never wanted to fight anyone they always wanted to negotiate !! watch more trek y'all !! nuff said

    Nothing like making a post that has nothing to do with the thread subject at all is there? You want shuttle pvp? start a private match and tell everyone shuttle only.

    the yshould have fernegi ships vs feds

    or wahtever otehr ones they have
