I played through this part and was thoroughly disappointed.
First, the whole "Elachi morph others into more Elatchi" garbage seemed like the writers of the mission confused the Kobali from Voyager with wherever these aliens came from. The Aliens in TNG were nothing like any of these. If the idea is that Elatchi "impregnate" humanoids with multiple spores the way parasitic wasps use caterpillars, I could possibly buy that.
Second, ALL of the Romulans I rescued survived fine, but EVERY SINGLE REMAN PERISHED!!! Considering the fatality rate of Remans in this game (save for Obisek and Slamek, after a fashion), I am appalled. It seems like a black guy in a cheap horror movie has a greater life expectancy than a Reman does (yes, I referenced an awful stereotype to emphasize my disgust, and I am white, by the way). I can't help but feel that Remans in this game are being discriminated in a rather disgusting parody of some of the racism that occurs in the real world. I play Star Trek as a for of escapism. I don't like seeing the ugliness of reality reflected in this game unless that evil can be countered, repelled, or corrected.
Third, there are only two rooms where the player rescues 4 NPCs. There are at least 5 rooms where players can rescue kidnaped victims. The large rooms can easily accommodate 6-8, while the smaller rooms can fit 3-4. Please change this so that there are more people to rescue.
The situation with Zden (Veril's father) was complete BS. I won't go further than to again point to my second point above.
Mind Games showcased the phenominal storytelling capabilities of the programmers and writters. Hearts and minds was a good mission (though frustratingly rare). This mission was the worst I have seen.

OMG plz dont it's long and boring enough
I just wish it had allowed us to learn something about them as a species. Correct me if i'm wrong, but we still don't know:
Where they came from
Why they are allied with Sela
why they live in subspace
And that's just the obvious questions (to me at least)
leaves it open for a future episode series.
I certainly hope so. there could be an awful lot of potention in them.
Plus, after seeing their dreadnaught, we have to look forward to the Elachi lock box! XD
