The Lifetime Subscription

Has just been purchased by me. I was under the impression that said subscription covers everything that a Gold Member would have (such as all the veteran rewards, additional bank & inventory slots, character slots etc).

I've got an extra bunch of character slots, but I don't have any extra bank of inventory slots (I've just checked my newest character), nor do I have the extra Boff Slots (unless these come in at level #50) and the unlocked badge that I've got (thought to be the one from TNG: All Good Things) is something different.

What's going on? Do I need to wait 24 hours before everything works or something?

Edit: Rewards are working on two of my toons (main FED & main KDF). Haven't checked my Romulan yet, though the rewards aren't working on my newest FED toon (level #1) ~ I'd not have thought his level would make much difference though? Surely I should still be getting the goodies.

Also, does anyone know when the 500zen rolls in?

I think you have to hit level 5 or similar on new characters to unlock everything, I could be wrong since I've only just bought the lifetime myself.

You won't get all the inventory slots on a low level toon straight away. You'll get given some as you level so that once your character is lv50 they will have them all unlocked (same goes for bank slots).

If I've misread and your new toons is already 50 then it's most likely a bug.
    Well I can't forget a face but I won't remember y'all.

    Nah, you've not misread. :)

Seems I've got to level up a bit, which is cool. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bug before I carried on. Just found it odd that I didn't unlock anything except for one of two badges straight away.

What about the 'All Good Things' Badge, and the extra Uniform Options? Surely they should be available to each and every character, regardless as to whether they've leveled up or not?

Have you tried logging in and out of that particular low level character to see if that fixes it (re-logging seems to work for a lot of things).

If it doesn't work then I can't think of a reason you shouldn't be getting them...as you said it seems strange that they would not be given to you straight away.

    At the tailor they should.

Character creator has only the bare basic uniforms though.

I have tried logging back out, and then back in, yeah.

I have a total of four characters at the moment. My main FED one (all the lifetime unlocks seem to be working there), my main KDF one (all the lifetime unlocks with the exception of fireworks seem to be working here; the console where you are suppose to get the fireworks from doesn't light up). I've also got a Romulan character, though I figure nothing would be available for him cause Cryptic are still working on that?

I've a new, 2nd Federation character though that I created shortly before making the lifetime purchase. He has access to one of the two badges (not the TNG:All Good Things one) and that seems to be it. He doesn't get any of the uniform unlocks or anything. The above badge still costs me 550zen.

I'm going to hit level #5, see if that makes a difference. If not, then another ticket to send off.

Important note, Rommies don't get lifetime stuff until you've made the choice I think.

Either that or until you are at the flotilla, I think this goes for all characters, you need to be out of the tutorial to get the lifetime stuff.

some of the Vet rewards/lifetime bonuses are not in game yet, like costumes and the special ships arent.

i wonder what the romulan lifetime "Veteran hull" will be. since the reman 1 ship skin kinda looks similar to what it might be, as its got the glowy lines like the vet hulls.

Yeah new characters won't get the LTS stuff until around level 5 or so. When I made my Lib Borg Rommie I didn't get anything until I hit level 5 and exited to sector space. Then my screen exploded with all the rewards kicking in. Also Roms don't get any uniforms, ships, or vet materials yet. Those are still in the works.

There are still some extra-extra bank and inventory slots that don't come with leveling. They have to be bought OUTSIDE of the lifetime sub...

This goes for your account bank as well...

Ok, going to anwser as much of this as I can, Apologies if some of this is already covered.

    1) The "LTS" combadge is NOT the AGT badge. it is a seperate badge, assuming you have unlocked it it should be something like "Lifetime Combadge" or something. I think it might be an automatic, since it is not tied to vet rewards, but I could be wrong.

    2) extra bank/inventory/and Boff slot rewards, not tied to vet rewards (can't remember if these are given as vet rewards, but I know ship slots are) are not awarded automatically. You will get those as you level up your character at each major promotion (Lieutenant, Commander, etc. and yes I mean all ranks).

    3) vet Rewards are awarded after you level up your character a certain amount. People are saying 5, sounds about right, but honestly I don't remember the level, but it is rather early on, but not at Creation.

    4) as stated, Most of the Romulan Republic character vet rewards aren't around at the moment. I believe any special items (uniform pieces, ships, etc) are not currently in the game, They are still in development and I would assume would be retroactively added to anyone character that qualifies.

    hope I got everything.

^^ Thank You all for the current amount of feedback. Another question though; the monthly 500zen. When does that turn in? At the start of each month, at the end of each month? When?

It will come the day after you originally bought your LTS. I bought my sub on March 16 so my stipend comes every month on the 17th.

Mine is supposed to come every month on the 13th. It's now the 16th and still no joy. Good luck with getting it. The "system" seems to be FUBARed at the moment.

I purchased my LTS today, so I guess I'll find out tomorrow as to whether it works or not.

Edit: Shame you don't get 500zen per character. :P

Considering some people have 30 to 50 characters, god knows why, that would be ludicrous.

But you do in effect considering that most things you get from the C Store are account wide unlocks.

Hah, yeah that's a fair point. I don't see how anyone can keep up with more than a handful of characters.

I'm going to be aiming for 6. Two of each. FED Tactical, FED Engineer, KDF Tactical, KDF Science (might try a Nausicaan), then a RR Engineer and a RR (Reman) Science. Those six ought to keep me going quite well.

A very valid point, for the most part.

Dilithium, Duty Officers, and Fleet Marks. Especially with those old clicky daily Foundry missions that gave 50 Fleet Marks and some dilithium. Saw someone get to a Tier 3 Starbase and they had a ton of alts to help.
