    Does seem suspicious.

Person with low post count wants to sell valuable goods?

Could be acquired through hacking / scamming.

I have done a deal with Cutter previously. Everything went as advertised - it's legit.

They are not worth 200 mil.

200mil EC sounds about right given how hard they are to get now.

The bonus warfare gives a lot better than the 1 or two points efficient gives.

sry about my low amount of replies...and i could also set my title to veteran but i just don't care lol

and ye i have sold over 30 Vets already (not all my vets...selling vets from fleetmates who returnd to sto for example)

    ...some even for 300 mil

200 mil is defntly a good price since you can't get those Bridge Officers anymore :)

Yeah they're probably worth that to some collectors.

It's unfortunate that Embassy & R.R.W. BOFFs in particular are just so superior to everything else atm.

Some variety of options would be nice.

Would maybe help sales if you posted the unique traits.

    1) Veteran - Ground Trait
    • +10 All Damage resistance
    • +10% Dodge Chance
    • +10% Avoidance

    2) Space Warfare - Space Trait
    • +5 Starship Maneuvers
    • +5 Starship Targeting Systems
    • +5 Starship Energy Weapon Specialization
    • +5 Projectile Weapon Specialization

Both bonuses overall actually give very little, maybe if you could stack 5 flat. But, since we have diminishing results. Anything more than 2 is just a waste really.

I mean if I had all 4 of those skills at 9, the extra 5 wouldn't help all that much. Even at 6, it wouldn't provide the worth of 200mil EC.

It's worth 200mil EC to collectors and hardcore pvpers....

Let's dissect the value of this boff a little more quantitatively.

    1) +5 Starship Maneuvers

Related to Defense, 5 / 99 = 5% increase to you Defense value. On average, Federation Startships have a base Defense value of 60, therefore, 5% of 60 = roughly Defense value of 3

Whereas Federation players can access Romulan boff at the Embassy with Superior Subterfuge to provide stackable + 3.75 in Defense

    3.75 > 3

    2) +5 Starship Targeting Systems

Related to Accuracy - the way this feature works is Accuracy - Defense. In the past, this could have been a valued feature but not anymore. The reason being since LoR, Defense value in general has increased considerably across the board due to Romulan boffs having a variety of Defense boosting traits. Technically, a Romulan vessel can have a passive Defensive value greater than 100 by merely flying in straight line without using cloak or any other buffs to increase its Defense. In other words, + 5 in Starship Targeting is insignificant and immaterial. Furthermore, if one really wants to improve Starship Targeting, one would go for an Elite Fleet Deflector which can provide + 17.5 in Starship Targeting

    3) Energy/Projectile Weapon Specialization

+5 to each of this feature is completely insignificant. Here is why :

    http://sto.gamepedia.com/Skill:_Starship_Projectile_Weapon_Specialization

If one has +99 in either specialization, critical chance will go up by 2%. Therefore, + 5 = roughly 0.05 X 2% = 0.10% increase in critical hit chance. Seriously, + 0.10% critical chance increase. Yet, if one just gets a Romulan Boff with Superior Operative trait, the gain is a straight 2% critical hit chance = +99 Energy/Projectile Weapon Specializaiton. Do we need to argue whether 99 is greater than 5? Not to mention, the Romulan boff are stackable.

The verdict is clear. Only people who have too EC in their pockets would consider paying 200 million ec for such an outdated boff. Put it bluntly, I wouldn't even use it if I receive it for free as it would severely lower the stats of my Space Boff crew.

As for the Ground traits, they are not even worth a look. For example, I can obtain an army of Jem'Hadar Boff for merely playing repetable missions and feed them refined Ketracel white synthesized by my Vorta purple doff, and they will have stats far greater than these VO.

Conclusion : This VA boff is seriously outdated. It is not recommended to use such boff even receiving it for free as it will lower your stats in both space and ground combat.

the post above has it spot on.....iv always laughed when i heard of players buyin these boffs for 100+ Mil, there +5 stats are pointless.... IMO there worth no more then 30-40 Mil, and since the intro of Rom Boffs the value of these ones will fall

if ur holdin onto these boffs with plans to cash in, get rid of em now b4 everyone realize there useless..lol

I will do the same thing in ESD to "WTT/WTS" Spammers...
So, you are asking someone to EXCHANGE currency for your goods. you are asking for an EXCHANGE between you and another player who is looking for your goods... Almost as if you are entering in a mutually beneficial EXCHANGE of goods.

    That is all
