I think you have all missed the point. Look at the first post again. All the names are based on both STO and each of the 10 (prime timeline) movies in succession.

hmm, well, I had only read the first page at the time, so I missed that part. Even so, his dare to come up with better, I'm sure, was meant for the films, at least at the time.
Still, episode wordplays are nice too....
However, I feel kinda bad about it, because I have always been happy with my STO experience (especially considering the worse results I've gotten from other MMO's I've tried).

Yes I have, If I cared to make any, they'd have worse names then that.
STO's grind is bearable, and easy enough to do 2-3 chars at once.
Only reason I did that is it seems a lot of Maintenance and Offline ones are floating around here.

Hell I get into so many groups with Jem'hadar ships they might as well rename this to Dominion Online.

I gave them up because no matter how hard I worked, I wasn't actually achieving anything.
But that doesn't lessen the fact that STO still has a grind heavy aspect now.
3 kinds of Reputation, Diplomacy, the gear from the aforementioned Reputation once they're maxed out.
That's the main reason I don't make alts, because I know any character will have to do all that from scratch!
