Replace photon torpedo launchers with stackable items

I've requested before that the 1000 military XP projects be changed so that they take stackable items instead of photon torpedo launchers. It is quite annoying to click hundreds of times to buy the torpedo launchers from a vendor. A recent patch to Tribble has adjusted the doff requirements and added discounts unlocked by the dilithium mine. I think this is a good time to change the photon torpedo requirement.

    I agree, this needs to happen. It's frustrating and seems like a bad design idea that just got overlooked. If nothing else make it the one time a weapon is stackable, please?

    Yea this is annoying. :cool: Also since some don't seem to know, if you hold CTRL while you click "buy" it saves you a little bit of time on the clicking. :)

    Hold down ctrl and tap the buy button to buy them quickly. Nothing frustrating about it.

    If you want, you can even arrange your inventory so you have exactly as many free slots as you need torpedo launchers. Then you don't even have to pay attention to how many you've bought, just tap away until it says inventory full.

    Nice tip, still an annoying item to get for projects.
