At the end of the last tribble release notes, under "Known Issues," is the following:
The door to your dilithium mine is not yet available on a sector map.

"Dilithium Mine Provisions" are a commodity required by the holdings project. They cost Fleet credits at the same rate as Embassy Provisions
Also I have screens of the tiers on my fleets front page if anyone is interested (link in signature)
I don't think that was quite what he meant, but yeah, the gist is there.
What I want to see are the costs. If it is a duplicate of the embassy, then its kinda pointless IMHO. Aside from another horrid grind for small fleets to get to the improved consoles/cores.

on tribble the current costs that I can see are exactly the same as the embassy (slightly less because of the discounts)

Yeah that's what I figured. So in an effort to make life easier on small fleets, they just simply added another holding with most likely "must have" gear, that's is going to now take almost twice as much in terms of cost as we had before.
Gee......thanks.
Spend 5 million to save a few hundred thousand. Brilliant.
Well the Fleet Cores are only T1, while the Elite Fleet Cores are T3.
You only really need to grind one of the areas (the red one, I can't remember its name) The Yellow one is exclusively those Eng consoles which are going to turn out being bad anyways

How do you know they are going to be bad if you don't have them yet?
The Embassy science ones were pretty good if you weren't just stacking field generators in there.
Folks, I'll gladly take the 9% discount. A savings of 9% on Dilithium, Marks, and other inputs... welcome in my book.
I've seen a few people saying it is a small discount. Out of curiosity, how much do you think the discount should be? (I'd love to see 90%, but lets be realistic). 20% (or 18% so the 3 levels work out)?

numbers people are putting up is around 5 million dilithium to build the mine. The dilithium savings of the discount won't be seen for several embassy type holdings.
Its is hoped the other benefits of the mine make up for those diltihium loses
I know what I can't wait for. The massive fleets to find the 5+ mil fleet credits to keep it going! Kidding I'm sure they have tons of it laying around

But people would grind for the next Fleet Holding no matter what it was. After all, how many active fleets that have been around for at least a few months still have a Tier 0 Embassy?

probably a few. there is no reason for everyone to build an embassy because of fleet map invites.
The Miner doffs maybe worth it for mining assignments and the enigeering consoles are the Salvation of cruiser vs. Escorts. With enough of them it turns a whale like the Odyssey into a leaping Dolphin.
The five eng console slots of the exploration class is now valuable.

It's next to DS9 in Beta Ursae. Look for all of the star ships parked next to a Ferengi ship and a rock.
Awoken Dead
Now shaddup about the queues, it's a BUG
Unless I'm misreading the notes, the dilithium mine doesn't actually directly generate dilithium for the fleet.
Whew. I was seeing the Fleet DOFF problem all over again.

Hope the numbers are subject to (major) change.
