Community Defend Rh'Ihho Station Event - June 13th - 2 Timeslots (BST and PDT/EDT)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Holodeck) Community Defend Rh'Ihho Station Event for this coming Thursday.


The first timeslot has been canceled, unfortunately. Details: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=10796351&postcount=16

The second timeslot will be at 3pm PDT/ 6pm EDT/ 11pm BST. (Click here to view in your time zone)


Let's plan to meet on Bajor, near the fountain. From there, we'll queue up for the event. Feel free to attend with a character of any faction, but the minimum level requirement is 50. Please join the REDALERT channel to see any instructions/ communication from myself. Type this command in your chat bar to join the channel: /channel_join redalert

If you can't make it Thursday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (STFs, Fleet Actions, PvP, Foundry, etc.).

    Hopefully, this shall be as fun as last time! I may even be lucky enough to be on Brandon's team again. Although, it's highly improbable, knowing my luck.

    hey depends on if I can be there and how many join up for this event I might be able to allow access to a Team Speak Server if anyone is interested in Voice Chat. once we are in the game and joined up I will release the details on the TS server access codes.

    I needed to update the BST timeslot. It's 30 min later now: 6:30pm BST/ 10:30am PDT/ 1:30pm EDT. (Click here to view in your time zone)

    Hope that still works for everyone! :)

    I will be trying to be there, but I am not sure I am going to make it.
    I just reinstalled STO to a different hard drive and am reinstalling another game, and since I have both by Steam, I have to wait until the second game is installed before I start STO :(

    I won't be able to play as my main character on it now, because the STF leaving ban works :/

    But, to be fair, 2 people had already left, which meant we couldn't have completed, any way.

    EDIT: Is the ban meant to apply for all queues? Because only STFs have disappeared from the list...

    Sorry, but i'am stuck on patching. "Never play on patch day!" But why is such a great event on a patch day?:(

    UPDATE: Hi Captains, we unfortunately need to cancel the BST timeslot of the event as we continue to work on the launcher issue players are experiencing. Our top engineers are on this and continue to investigate and work on a resolution. We will still plan to conduct the PDT/EDT timeslot that is later today. Thanks for your patience and support as we work on this issue.

    Damn. Over here in Germany the second timeslot would be at midnight, and I guess my boss would not be really happy seeing me sleeping on work tomorrow. :D

    I hope the cancelled timeslot would be held tomorrow. :cool:

    btw I would suggest Omega ground kit for this because you can 2-shot those bombs arming in the sides ... faster than the Sniper rifle and with more fire range than pulse

    Piercing weapons work wonders. That and Romulan flamethrower kits.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    I am new here, and I really like the idea of community events like this. Unfortunately I cannot/could not have made the times available to play today. Since I was asked: my constructive idea is to do this after I get off work in the US. :)

    I would love to this this kind of thing happen more often, even regularly, and other events would be great, particularly some of the less played events in the PvE queues (I'm looking at you Ground: everything).

    The few of us that stuck around in RedAlert after it was announced as cancelled all defended the station simultaneously at 7PM.

    Oh good! So sorry I was not there for it. We should have no issue with the next timeslot in just about 2 hours :)

    Thanks to everyone who made it out to the second timeslot today, and I apologize again about the first timeslot needing to be canceled due to the launcher issue.
