[Suggestions]Things that i think should change

Grinding is to be expected in any mmorpg game but it seems to me that it is getting out of hand. 3 sets of reputation marks. Fleet marks. Fleet credits. Dilithium. Energy Credits. Theirs to many "currencies" in star trek online. My suggestion would be to combine Reputation marks and fleet marks into one "Reputation Mark" and then Combine Dlithium and Energy credits. Name it Dilithium or Energy Credits. Doesn't really matter which. That will narrow it down to just 3 currencies instead of the current 8.

Next is with some of the Lock box and c-store ships. I am fine with them having an advantage over "free ships" but some of them are absolutely crazy. The bug ship for example. You need to balance some of these ships and consoles. When people start crying about thier ships getting nerfs just ignore them. They aren't going anywhere. Its pretty dumb to watch a bug ship get focus fired and still manage to turn around and destroy 2 ships before dying.

Fix science. I don't care if you nerf tactical and engineering or if you buff science. But it needs to balance out and have at least 75% of its abilities be viable in pvp. Also i suggest you link the turn rate to the ships mass. Currently it seems as if some of the large ships can turn as well as a partol escort with the help of only one rcs console. If they want to turn like that i think 2+ should be required. Instead of giving the ship a "turn rate" score tie the turn rate directly to the ships mass.

Fix your servers. Lag is understandable but the rubber banding is getting pretty anoyying. You can have a imbalanced game and keep a good player base. Terrible servers will cost you alot of the player base.

if you combine dilithium with energy credits how will you buy things on the exchange?

dilithium is their real money currency.. basically its the gated one that people buy zen for.. with that gone how do they sell zen?

also nerfing c store and lock box ships would kill the zen market as well..

I seem to recall this game was lousy with currencies BEFORE the F2P era.

Now they've gone back to it. Honestly our "Wallet" screens are going to be insanely long once they really start adding Reputation systems.

I really like the idea of having one 'reputation' mark. I don't think it would jack up the story that much as the feds and klinks can cooperate on most of the rep dailies. The others they do along side each other (Epoh tagging).

Not going to change Marks to a universal mark. For some strange reason, devs like players to do specific events to get specific rewards. Defeating the Borg is not going to help New Romulus or Nukara. Although I could see mark conversion projects. For example, acquire some Borg or Tholian technology and modify it to help the people on New Romulus.

The idea of converting one kind of Mark to another sounds interesting, but it should cost you some Expertise in order to run the Reputation project to do so. That would give players a mild incentive to earn the desired type of Marks instead of converting, but would not make conversion uselessly expensive.

Obviously it would require some expertise and commoditiies to start. If they really want people to give a second thought on doing it, then adding dilithium to it would work. Nothing major just 1,000 dilithium per conversion project.

As far as nerfing c store and lockbox ships killing the zen market. That statement makes you seem foolish imo. The current way the ships are makes this game pay to win. Which isn't fun. I could dump $200 on this game right now but i wont because i see it as a waste of money. I dont mind spending 15-20 a month maybe a little more if thiers something i want. I convert most of it into dilithium anyway.

You could essentially just remove energy credits and use dilithium in its place. Prices would need to be changed of course but im fine with just removing energy credits and letting dilithium be the main currency.
