I was just thinking about the request for more science ships, and it occurred to me. Why not give Romulan players Elachi ships via the C-Store? The KDF have th Kar'Fi carrier which was captured from the Fek'ihr and their is talk of giving them the K'Norr. What is not to say that the Republic managed to capture some of the ships the Elachi were using?
Sooner or later elachi ships will come in a lockbox availeble to each of the two factions we have in game.

Why does everything in this game have to be flyable by players? I can't imagine very many Romulans being happy piloting those things consider what the Elachi do.
Not to mention them traveling through subspace and all, I'm sure the Elachi would probably raid stolen ships and either self destruct them or try and get them back.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power

Very much that! My skin was crawling during those two very short times I had to pilot the Elements-be-damned Elachi ship.
It's fairly inevitable, since the Escort at least has a layout and given how many of the ships are now space debris or wrecks or so on above New Romulus, AND the Republic needs to enhance it's fleet anyway it can.

Why did they give the Fek'ihr battleship/carrier to the KDF? Beggers can't be choosers, and the Republic needs to use everything it can. Even some of the Bajoran ships in the early years were captured and refitted Cardassian ships.

Had wondered if that S'golth Escort we fly would make it into a lockbox...kind of wondering if it might not do that down the line or end up a seasonal vessel like the Breen Chel Grett...
Not likely. Crescent Wave Disruptors (bring a D'D down to 50% health through a full shield) are too OP to be given to players.
Umm, that attack requires a charge-up to be unleashed... and also, it's very much like the Disrupter Autocannon on the Bortasqu', in that it's a devastating barrage that destroys a single facing and much health. But despite that, it's not too bad.
I imagine the Elachi version wouldn't be too different. Powerful, big cooldown, but not OP.
