Has anyone spoken to the transporter officer at the shipyards since LoR went live?

He has a new dialogue option: "What happened to the old transporter officer?"

I suggest you try it out. :D

Just noticed yesterday. Laughed like crazy. :D
Everything that LoR brought to the KDF seems to be fun and epic, I'm loving it!

Its the bluntness that makes it work. You can just imagine the tone of voice having the same emotional weight as if saying 'he's on sick leave.' Just very 'yeah whatever.'

I spoke to the Lethean transporter chief, and when he commented about the previous transporter chief...I thought 'typical Klingon bureaucracy'. Incompetent officers are either executed or commit Hegh'bat.

I wonder if a little magic with borg nanoprobes can revive this much beloved transporter officer.

He loved beaming people back and forth.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

there is a reason why in the lor tribble patch notes.

being a close beta I was there enough to notice the patch update for what happened. Made me laugh when I realized they actually went ahead and did it. KDF were stuck on the yard and the notes said the Transport Officer was replaced due to incompetency.

He was a pretty bad transporter officer. It wouldn't of surprised me a bit if I accidentally ended up on Earth Space Dock instead of First City. Imagine the battles that'd go on if that started happening. Those zombies standing at the Exchange terminals would be the first to go. No way they'd see the Bat'leth coming till it was too late.

On a similar subject...I was away from the game for a while there; when did they add a cut scene to one of Morn's dialog options? I was in DS9 last night doing the first DS9/Cardassian mission on my Fedulan and for whatever reason went through all of the things you can ask Morn. The last one in the list triggered a pretty funny cut scene.

Since he is Lethean, I want him to read my mind to know where I want to go. Once that is done we can add that functionality to my Lethean bridge officer to know when I am hitting the wrong key on the keyboard.

If you're talking about the "What have you been up to?" cut scene, then no, that's not new. It is pretty funny though.

They added that in Season Six (I believe).

Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."
