2) How do you invision it unfolding if continued into the endgame?
3) Why do we not have some simple KDF written cross-faction STFs that explore the Undine or other some such story ideas?
4) Why do the KDF romulans not have access to all KDF only mission content?
5) KDF combat pet kits, Targ-Monster Dog-Jackal-Sauron, are they ever going to exist?
6) The KDF KHG boomstick O'doomstick has a front blade with no actual Hack or Gut attack associated to it ingame. Any plans to expand Melee attacks on such special weapons both mechanicaly and graphically.
R.I.P
Even the most experienced and well-known Foundry authors, like Havraha of Podcast UGC, are asking, "Why even bother? It's not worth it to make Foundry missions." Do you understand why he and others would say that? Please explain. Show us that you understand the long-term and short-term issues that we are experiencing as Foundry authors.
Thanks to you and your team for all their efforts past and especially present. You've delivered a product I truly enjoy and look forward to a long future of supporting Star Trek Online.
With the launch of Legacy of Romulus, I now find the Exchange to be considerably slower when displaying item details than prior to launch. For example searching for tactical Boffs for Torpedo Spread 3 prior to LOR launch was a quick scroll scanning down affair. Exchange Boffs displayed their details extremely fast allowing for easy review through the resulting lists. That same search return post LOR is now a rather painfully slow slog through the Boffs line by line waiting as their details come up. Would you please comment on your awareness of this issue and what plans STO has for returning the Exchange to its former swift nimble glory ... and ... maybe any other Exchange improvements your teams may be working to deliver?
Thank you!

What will it take for the tool to no longer be in beta?
I would think that 2 and a third years would have been enough to learn enough to apply to the tool to bring it out of beta testing and somehow integrate it more fully with the game.
Or did all those lessons simply go to Neverwinter and we are left with a forever "Beta" toolset?
Reputation: The more characters you got, the more burden it is to grind them and making it feel more like job due to the effort it takes to work on them.
Accolades: Some accolades are unique, like the STO Anniversary accolades, or very difficult to achieve accolades like the No Win Scenario and the 300 STF Accolades.
Other Unlocks: Like the 25th Anniversary Costume Pieces or purchased costume pieces (Lobi stuff gets extremely expensive for multiple characters).
2) With the Tal Shiar Lockbox, we are introduced to Khelids, but you made it an accolade to "buy them all". Why introduce such an accolade that requires a person to spend money? Is there going to be an inexpensive version that allows people to complete this accolade?
Right now, the only way to complete this accolade is buy multiple lockboxes or buy the Khelids off the Exchange, where the cheapest starts at 200,000 EC, and the Rares in the Multi-Million range (the Purples were like 400 million).
3) What is your thoughts about the Exploration Clusters and the old Deep Space Encounters?
With Deep Space Encounters, they serve no purpose other than testing builds in an instant action enviroment and some of them are broken (like Gamma Orionis and Alpha Triangulai) and some other factions can't go into and partcipate (like KDF in Sirius, Regulus, and PI Canis).
So is there a possibility that they could be replaced as part of the Territorial System?
Exploration Clusters are just random premade missions and with talks of an exploration revamp, what's going to happen to these? Be part of a Foundry?
4) Still several Canonical Ships still yet to make it into STO.
Klingon:
D4 (not the Abrams version, but the 22nd Century D7 that Eaves made that became the Koro'Tinga).
D5
22nd Century BoP
K'Vort
"VoD'Legh" (Negh'var varient seen in All Good Things).
Perhaps the D4 be equivalent to the TOS Consitution PreOrder, D5 to the NX, and the 22nd BoP with the Oberth.
Federation: The Infamous Kitbashes, the Dauntless (which was seen used by the Federation at the Battle of Procyon).
5) Battle Of Procyon, any chance we might be experiencing this as a future Featured Event?
6) Exploration Revamp, what's the word?
Are there any plans in the near future to revise the ship crew mechanic? Specifically on how ship crew surves very little purples other than hull regeneration rate. How are your views on ship crew deaths as a percentage of the total crew rather than a fixed number (making large ship crew numbers less desirable than small ship crew numbers)? Any plans to expand ship crew mechanics to provide more bonuses or other functions other than hull regeneration?

It is a peculiar phenomenon that we can imagine events that defy the laws of the universe.
There are currently a lot of bugs plaguing the KDF tailors. The Ship tailor requires Zen to buy windows. The Honor Guard costume cannot load saved costumes properly, in addition to having a lot of color linking bugs.. and right now the KHG costume is pretty much completely busted. The Feds can edit their cross-faction Diplomacy BOFFs, but we cannot edit ours, a bug that has existed for over a year. If it's intentional, can you change it? We would love you forever. Needless to say, it's pretty ugly in there right now. It's been bad for a long time but has reached a sort of critical mass. Will there be a pass on the KDF tailors to address these issues?
It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪
- If Sector Space is supposed to be more of an Astromectrics view, can we combine Sector Space and bridge navigation, maybe add in an interception mechanic for signal contacts?
- Will ship interiors be revisited to have meaning and more function. I use the small layout for everything as 1) it's generic and doesn't matter what layout you have, 2) the running around is pointless, most of the doff assignment crew can be replaced with a panel in the bridge.
... where are they all hiding?
I got my first level 50 Romulan by now, i've opened 47 LockBoxes, got 30 DOffPacks from that and only got 100+ Klingon DOGS out of it...
- Assignment Chains
- CXP rewards
- Asylums
- Officer Exchanges
- Lt. STaas / Ferra
- LockBox rewards
they ALL still reward the same old, mostly bound on pickup, DOffs from FED / KDF side as they always did.
I totally get it... you guys had so much work to do that the DOff System just wasn't high priority enough to go over it all again... so maybe later you will get to it?
RED ALERT! *uuuiiii uuuuiiii uuuuiiii*
Sir, we got something on Sensors... detecting massive amounts of Pay 2 Win in front of us... there is... oh my god Sir... it is a [Tal Shiar Command Code] inside a LockBox and it has a 5 in 47 drop rate... i'm detecting a MASSIVE amount of unique handcrafted Romulan Tal'Shiar Officers with new Active Roster Powers, they are trapped inside it... i'm detecting at least 90 of them.
We have to get them out of there!

Monetization is obviously working just fine and dandy for the DOff System, always has since Heretic left, so why is the rest of the DOff System trapped in the Maintenance Mode for so long now?
Why are Nukara Marks far more difficult to acquire, compared to the other Reputations? And why don't they get any boosts during the event bonus? And why we weren't allowed to turn in our extra Crystaline sets for Marks?
On that same note, why don't Romulan players have a head start with Romulan Reputation? As said on other threads, seems odd that you have to build up a reputation, when you are one of the Founders of the Republic.
If you get ignored or reported enough time you get an automatic 24hour ban from all chat from all three crytpic games. You don't even need to be online for it to happen as long as they have your handle.
Perhaps instead of an all chat ban allow the banned player to communicate in group, guild and private tells?
Heck in the Neverwinter the forums there are some complains of being chat banned because they tried to sell stuff using zone chat since some players decided to stop all trade in zone chat.
the ignore and report spam commands seems to have the potential to be abused and there even was a forum post on neverwinter for creating an ignore script to ban players, provided the player can get enough alt accounts and other players to ignore the said target.
Also introduce an official trade and LFG channel for each of cryptic games as would be a nice addition as well please.
thanks
2) I would like to see some event fixes, mirror event for example is kicking you more times than it lets you play (there are other events that continually kick you besides mirror).
3) How about account bound Lobi crystals..
Will we see the Enterprise MACO Uniform available anytime soon?
When can we start crafting our own Warp Cores?
Will Gamma Orionis get a fix so that we can finish the Defender Accolade for it?
Will the Aegis set get an upgrade, NOT tied to STFs? If will take STFs, don't bother with it. If reputation, I can live with that.
-How is the team.. recovering.. after all those tireless hours to get Legacy of Romulus out? (It was clear to see just how hard everyone was working away at the game during beta. /tipHat)
-Crafting overhaul soon? (Romulans still don't have their own crafting recipes and no-one can make warp cores.)
(Also, thank you to the P1 crew. I'm sure it's a fairly thankless thing, but you folks are appreciated!)
-The 100 mail attachment limit was snuck in and not even mentioned. It has been confirmed on Twitter. Do you think it is acceptable that this has not been confirmed on the forums or wasn't even in the patch notes?
-Reputation system for players that have more than 1 captain is practically full time job,and i assume there will be more and more reputations added. Are we going to see account based reputation or any similiar option?
-There are so many consoles this days up to grab,so my question is will device slots ever be avaible for universal consoles?
Will there ever be an option to use lockbox ship bridges (only ones that you have) on the non lockbox ships?
Will there be another Jem Hadar Attack Ship promotion soon?
Will there be another Tuffli Freighter promotion soon?
Will the Delta Quadrant be released in the near future?
Will the Gamma Quadrant be released in the near future?
Will there be duty officer assignment slots for purchase somehow sometime soon? We already can expand our roster and buy more active duty slots through the fleet store, so why not assignment slots?
On the note of the roster expansion maybe something could be done to increase brig/passenger space? On the ratio of buying the roster expansion adds 100 slots (on the first purchase effectively doubling it) perhaps there should be some scaling of the brig and passenger space as well. Or just include that in a separate purchase to open people's wallets. I for one would like to run the steps of the exploration sectors in order for all of them at one time. Due to the size limitations on the passengers, I cannot do this.
And the big one...
Will there be anything added to sectors outside of Cardassian Space to entice players to go there?
For the most part I am content camping BU waiting for haggles, ghost of jemhadar repeatables, negotiate delivery of rare commodities, officer exchanges, 3 exploration sectors. I wouldn't mind going to other sectors of space but for reward to time ratio, no other space sector beats Cardassian.
If there were other forms of rare commodies for say romulan space, (Iota/Alpha Centauri/Tau Dewa) and a negotiate delivery of those rare commodites, plus a few officer exchanges/asylums I would be more interested in going there.
Outside of epohh tagging, I hardly set foot in any of Romulan Space, even on my Romulan Character...
This would also help translate the exploration feel that we got from the TV Shows to the actual game. Besides Star Trek DS9, the main overall plot was exploration of space, not camping Cardassian Space waiting for cool stuff to pop up.
Maybe a dilithium mining station could be placed in each sector of space, to help promote diversity as well. It doesn't make sense that in all of the Star Trek Universe, there's one lonely little asteroid that our Admirals and Generals would have access to. It would make far more sense for there to be more of them. Could make it a shared cool down overall so if you do a mining in Federation Space, you can't do one again in Cardassian Space as well.
Unique Duty Officer Missions per Space Sector would be nice as well. In Borg Space, why are there not more missions that revolve around interacting with the Borg instead of just generic missions. From the few times I've been in 8472 space, I didn't see ANY unique missions there regarding them specifically. Again for me at least it boils down to a time/reward so if there's nothing there outside of missions why would anyone go back? And that's assuming they bothered to play missions in the first place.
Thanks for putting together this interview, I am looking forward to listening to it.
Will Fed/Kdf be able to use Romulan bridge officers that aren't from the embassy? Not really fair that Romulans have the best of both worlds there, they can use fed/rom/kdf bridge officers while feds can only use feds and kdf can only use kdf, outside of the fleet system of course, and even within the fleet system you get shafted to use the preset ones instead of finding the traits that you actually want.
Will there be any further expansion with the tiers of the duty officer system? It doesn't take too long from a fresh character to get to tier 4 in some of the categories, and getting further experience in a tier 4 category is useless unless you're in a fleet to use the fleet marks. Perhaps something could be done about this to even the playing field? Maybe choice of marks for the 10k commendation exp? Maybe a fifth tier for a ultra rare doff? Maybe doing another 100k commendation exp for another very rare doff?
Will there be any scaling of the rewards for the doff system based on rarity, time for completion, and causality risk? At the moment the scaling is way off, ex:
Interrogation Resistance Program: 8hrs - 50 dilithium - 441 espionage xp - 230 expertise - 264 skill points - casualty risk: none - base odds for completion: 5% crit, 55% success, 38% failure, 1% disaster. Takes 3 doffs to complete.
Sabotage Reman Weapons Lab: 2days - 5 dilithium - 277 espionage xp - 490 ec - 266 expertise - 305 skill points - casualty risk: low - base odds for completion: 5% crit, 56% success, 30% failure, 9% disaster. Takes 4 doffs to complete.
Sabotage Romulan Resupply Base: 2days - 5 dilithium - 340 espionage xp - 490 ec - 333 expertise - 381 skill points - casualty risk: low - base odds for completion: 5% crit, 56% success, 30% failure, 9% disaster. Takes 4 doffs to complete.
The scaling on these missions (and this is just an example there are many many more) is way off. The rewards of the longer missions should be scaled up to justify the time spent. At the moment a 8hr mission with less casualty risk, less doffs, and less disaster chance, gives better dilithium and commendation point rewards than the 2day mission.
2 days/8 hours = 6. The reward for the 2day missions should be scaled by at least 5 across the board to even attempt at scaling correctly. Additional scaling for the added casualty risk, higher base disaster rating, and the higher amount of doffs to complete should occur as well.
Will the foundry ever escape it's beta state? Will we see our foundry brought up to the level of quality of the Neverwinter foundry?
Tony
Are you going to lower prices on the Zen store for Gold members?
Also are you going to lower prices in general for Lockbox keys since they are an obivous money sink?
Are you going to make reputation account wide, the grind gets extremely boring?
Are you going to take the massive DIL requirement off for crafting and Starbase Builds?
Are you going you going to raise the daily DIL rate? OR get rid of it all together?
Those are my questions.
