I've started playing again recently, haven't gotten much done since I'm busy with other things, mainly painting a 2,000 Point Ork Army for Warhammer 40,000 that I have to get finished before July so I can go to a tournament at my local gaming store.
Anyway, here's a question from me:
If your ship in STO had it's own TV series, what actor would you have play each member of your main crew? It can be any actor that you know off, not limited to Sci-Fi Actors.
Currently, I don't much much of a crew and will be posting my answer once I reach Level 10.

Well, if you glance at my avatar to see my Fed admiral, (who is looking overly youthful, I suppose) I'm thinking Damian Lewis to play my main character.
Possibly Claire Danes as my human first officer
Scott Caan as my feisty Andorian second officer and chief engineer
Colin Donnell (currently on "Arrow") as my Bajoran security chief
Justin Bartha (of "National Treasure" fame) as my Betazed medic
Tongayi Chirisa (from short-lived TV show "Crusoe") in whatever junior BOFF I could create. The man has acting chops. Probably add a BOFF from the United States of Africa.
I'd like to find a spot for Philip Winchester (also of "Crusoe") as well, if I could.
The rest of the junior BOFFs I'd probably cast from promising undiscovered talent. I'd make a point though, of casting those rolls from around the globe.
For my captain-either Ben Browder or Brian J Smith , reason being my captain is the youngest captain in the fleet, also likes to wise crack every so often

My Human science officer- Elyse Levesque, my sci boff incidentally looks like her plus she was brilliant in season 2 of SGU

* Pentaxians are almost externally identical to Humans except for the following differences:
All have ice-blonde hair and eyes with purple irises. The edges of the forehead/temples have subtle ridges. The fingernails are raised in a pointed, tented ridge and clearly identifiable as claws rather than fingernails.
Mu'Naii are humanoid in appearance, hairless, with milky white skin, and vertically slit amber eyes.

A lot of those are pretty much who I'd pick, BUT, as much as I love SUmmer GLau she seems to have a bad spectre following her around and the show would be cancelled after two seasons.

I love Anna Torv, but I honestly can't see her playing to Sann's sense of humor. I think Kate Bosworth would work nicely, though.
As for Lynathru, I read him as Mark Strong all the way.

Hmm, Kate Bosworth is an interesting choice, and admittedly a much better one than Anna Torv.
As for Lynathru...I actually had considered Mark Strong at first, though I thought against him because he didn't fit the smarmy, self-serving persona I have in mind for Lynathru. But now that I've given the matter some thought, Mark Strong actually is a really good choice (especially since he's proven he can play smarmy quite well in Kick-TRIBBLE.) My secondary choice for Lynathru, though, would probably be Christopher Eccleston.
As for Ta'nara...the problem is thinking of an actress who can pull off ruthless, intelligent badassery well enough (other than Claudia Black or Lena Headey, that is).
I think my human tac officer would be played by Kate Beckinsale.
Not really sure on any of my other crew.
