repair

so since I have never gotten any help from cryptic customer service I am going to fellow gamers. I had a error happen while I was playing STO. usually not a big deal. But since that error happened, and the game crashed to desk top, I haven't been able to get back online. The launcher lets me log in. then it starts patching, but with no progress made on the "patch bar". and yes I did download the last patch already. So how does one go about repairing the game/launcher?

so people can talk bout whether or not STO need a Connie T5 but not give a word of advice on my problem?
