Community Atmosphere Assault Shuttle Event - May 30th - 2 Timeslots (BST and PDT/EDT)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Holodeck) Community Atmosphere Assault Shuttle Event for this coming Thursday.


The first timeslot will be at 8pm BST/ Noon PDT/ 3pm EDT. (Click here to view in your time zone)

The second timeslot will be at 5:30pm PDT/ 8:30pm EDT/ 1:30am BST. (Click here to view in your time zone)


Let's plan to meet in orbit of Deep Space Nine. From there, we'll queue up for the event. Feel free to attend with a character of any faction, but the minimum level requirement is 50. Please join the REDALERT channel to see any instructions/ communication from myself. Type this command in your chat bar to join the channel: /channel_join redalert

If you can't make it Thursday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (STFs, Fleet Actions, PvP, Foundry, etc.).

    Sounds great. Would love to do other PvE events, such as Borg STFs, but no PvP for me, not just yet. Will show up as MrKilljoy.

    Might not be there for the first time slot but will be for the second. This is a fun mission, can't wait!

    Unfortunately, only nocturnal Europeans can join the second one. But I suppose you cannot please everyone. Then again, I used to go on this game that is hardly ever updated. And the admins there are not particularly fun, so it's nice to see staff joining in with the players. I should stop myself now so I don't just ramble eternally.

    So...I'm a bit new here and don't fully understand all the events in game. Can you explain what an Assault Shuttle Event is? Do I need an assault shuttle to participate or is this an event to gain a shuttle?

    I recently reached level 50 so trying to figure out all the things that I can do now and participate in.

    This event is a new event that was added with Legacy of Romulus's launch last week :) It's available anytime once you reach level 50, and I'm running a community event so we can all get together to participate in it.

    Before you join us, make sure you have a default small craft set via the "ready starship" button that is available when speaking with a "Ship Selector" contact (you can also switch between your ship and small craft manually via the radio button towards the bottom-left of that screen, if you'd like to fly around in it at other times).

    Once ready, meet us in orbit of DS9 at the start of on of the timeslots, and join us in the chat channel listed on the page prior -- we'll be using the public queue to queue up for the event, and you'll automatically be put into your small craft at the start.

    Ya know I'll try to be at them (assuming I don't have any work crop up) but the funny thing?

    Brandon sends all radio stations that he knows of that cover STO an voice file that says pretty much what his first post says. And while I don't hear them as much anymore as I'm busy as all sin now a days, I was reading the OP and all of a sudden I heard his voice in my head, and no my speakers and headphones are off.

    That's not totally creepy is it? :confused:

    Secret Tactical Tal Shiar Information for the Atmosphere Assault.

    If you want to come prepared for this mission, you should consider bringing a Shield with Disruptor resistance, as well as some form of Area of Effect (Torpedo Spread) to hammer down the shuttles.

    A community ESTF run would be cool! also any day but Thursday (work 14 hr days mon&thu) would nice as well
