No Crafting Stations in New Romulus Command

There are no crafting stations in New Romulus Command, despite there being vendors for the various crafts - is this as intended or do we still get some - or did I just miss them altogether? Also, those stores are named (in the UI, when you open them) the same as on Memory Alpha, meaning, the consoles have Ferengi names! :D

    I believe those are the small podiums located just behind the Tailor, in the room down the hall to the left as you leave the transporter pad.

    No, those small consoles are the crafting vendors. I mean the crafting console, where you get to actually craft stuff.

    There is no crafting terminal at New Romulus Command. So we have to fly all the way to Memory Alpha (or whatever the Klingon equivalent is) to craft a few things, which is annoying.

    I also wondered why we can buy the unreplicateable materials and schematics at New Romulus Command when there is no crafting station around. That makes no sense...

    Ever thought of clicking the arrow at the bottom right of the minimap and clicking R&D. AFAIK that lets you craft from anywhere. Also you can craft on the flotilla, it's a panel on a pillar near the tailor.

    Yes, a crafting station should be installed in New Romulus Command. I think that wouldn't be too hard to do, all we need basically is a console that will link with the crafting interface.

    I have also noticed that the consoles have the names of the Ferengi vendors on Memory Alpha and this needs to be fixed. The devs. have probably overseen it with all the work that has been going on, but I rather the consoles not have a name.
    Also, the comodity vendor on the flotilla is named Fhoss after the Bolian one on ESD and this needs to be fixed as well, he deserves his own Romulan name at least.

    In addition to the crafting station, another thing I noticed missing on New Romulus (or I'm completely blind) is a bartender or similar vendor we can purchase food and beverages from.

    1. You are not able to craft from anywhere except the crafting consoles.
    2. Also, the mentioned console is for Skill Respec, not crafting.

    "AFAIK" already indicates that your reply is a personal opinion - why are you being nasty about it when you have no clue like the rest of us?

    I was interested in leveling crafting on one of my Romulan characters, because I thought I could make some low level plasma weapons. It would nicely fit in with the plasma weapon ground thrait. Alas, it seems that Romulan characters can only make phaser weapons. The whole crafting gimmick is just copy pasted from the Fed.

    Crafting gives fairly good equipment up until low admiral. The equipment thereafter isn't wrong either but the dilithium costs are way to high. I do not understand why this isn't lowered. Crafting would be an option to get sub par equipment but also for a reasonable price.

    what he said...you can craft anyplace, use the mini map.

    Actually you can't, I just tried it against my better judgement and I couldn't. I gave it a shot since I haven't tried to craft since LoR, but you still need a crafting console to do it. The minimap dropdown only gives us our R&D progress and the items we can craft.

    You cant make plasma ground weapons or singularity drives either for the ships. To craft you have to go to the Fed Memory Alpha or to KDF home planet.

    I don't know why we cant have a crafting station on the ship to be honest.

    Also I hope to be able to leave the KDF and rejoin the Romulan faction at some point.

    As far as I can tell, the 'View R&D Progress' accessed by clicking the arrow allows you to view what you could build at a R&D station - but not does not allow you to craft anywhere. It would be nice though. :rolleyes:
