So, we have one for both the Klingons and the Federation, and we also have the decision to not permit T5 ships to be available from the allied factions for Romulans (which is fine). I also understand that this expansion just launched and that we will undoubtedly see more option for Romulans come out, but with that said, is there a plan to provide the Romulans with a Veteran Ship? If yes, what is the estimated time frame? If no, why?
Your answer assumes they intend to make them: I have seen nothing to indicate that as of yet - so if you have such evidence please link it. Otherwise "when they're done." Is a non-answer. My question stands.

I'm curious about the stats, I mean if the time ships are considered *warbirds* will they have a battle cloak?
Maybe. The Vet KDF Heavy Destroyer has a Battle Cloak while the Fed version doesn't, but neither of the KDF Temporal ships have ANY cloak, battle or otherwise.
Given the treatment of the Tal Shiar destroyer and Tal Shiar battlecruiser (non-battle cloaks), I imagine Cryptic could go whatever way they choose for a Veteran Warbird. I'm hoping they do decide for a Battle-cloak equipped veteran ship, though if you ask me I'd trade a battle cloak for a 10th console instead.

The Tal Shiar ships are also available to all three factions, are they not?
We'll have to wait and see.
My first thought was also that it would be basically identical to the Klingon version.
But then it would be pretty much identical to the Mogai as well...
HMM the Pegqu' is basically a heavy Raptor with a battlecloak while the Romulan ships already have a battlecloak.
Perhaps the Romulan Veteran ship will end up "one cloaking device better" and get an EBC while ending up a bit heavier than its escort counterparts as well.
Then it would be a bit more like a cruiser than the others.
The Federation one is of course the Captain's Yacht from "Insurrection".
Both of these were somewhat larger than a regulat shuttle.
The same would apply to the ship from "The Defector" (even though its size is a bit in question).
But I'd say it's more of a shuttle than a reguler ship like the Defiant or Nova unless those are actually giant transparent walls instead of windows:
Chimera and Peghqu' are identical aside from the Peghqu's battle cloak and the Chimera's slightly higher shield modifier. Peghqu' got the better end of that deal. Otherwise, same hull, same turn, same everything. I expect the Romulan version will have essentially the Peghqu's stats, but with Warbird bonuses/penalties. So +Singularity abilities, -Power levels and -Bonus defense. I very much doubt it will get EBC as it's too tanky. It would be extremely OP.

Same with timeships, and other vet perks available to Fed/KDF players but not Rommies.

You'll notice everything I described is blatantly listed as "planned for development"
Which brings me right back too...
When they're done.
That good enough for you, or are you similarly incapable of looking up the additional Dev postings and tweets that reinforce the above?
So I assume the Romulan time ship and veteran destroyer are in development. It may take time though.

My personal guess for the Veteran shuttle would be the ship from "The Defector".
The Klingon version was based on the crashed scoutship in Enterprise's Pilot

I absolutely LOVED that Romulan scout ship from TNG!
I really hope that's the shuttle the devs will give us for the Romulan Veteran shuttle reward.
Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.
It'd make sense, and it's too small to be a "real" ship, and is conspicuous in it's absence. Also need to watch "The Defector" now.
