Getting insta-kicked from instance groups because of the party bug, still unfixed after a long time and now worse because of the increased amount of players playing STO and queueing for games.
Getting insta-kicked from the instance queue when trying to join a queued instance because of "map not found" errors.
Other sundry stuff broken, or re-broken with the Rom xpac.
Some of teh bugs are fluff, but those mentioned above are fundamental to the MMO gaming experience. Making excuses for it by saying, "just don't queue" doesn't cut it, not when servers are offline daily during UK daytime (I work evenings, this is prime time for me) and we're downloading patches every single day.
What exactly is being fixed in these patches (patch notes yo) and why aren't core bugs being addressed?
Most likely because these core errors are not simple fixes.
As with all bug-fixing efforts, triage is required, and I suspect the triage is additionally compromised by the overhaul that LoR did. They have to balance "play quality" with the ability to actually find and fix the bugs without introducing new or worse bugs.
It continues to boggle the mind that people actually believe a company that relies on public perception wouldn't fix bugs if they could do so simply and quickly. I haven't run into either of the bugs you have, but then again, I rarely queue in a party, so my experience isn't the same as yours. But if it's something to do with the core grouping - queing code, messing with it could break , well, everything from STF's to Foundry missions. I suspect they're waiting until LoR calms down and will make overhauls in the next major patch update (not the little rinky dink weeklies).
It's a no-win situation for the Dev's - the Entitled Masses want *insert bug here* fixed, but DON'T want the Dev's the take the game offline for this to happen.
Nor do they apparently want the necessary downtime to keep the game playable. But then they ***** and moan when issues crop up.

if you did this in a business setting youd be out of business....only thing keep this company alove is it has other games that can trickle in cash

Well, good for you. If you think it's as simple as "old code, new code" then you have zero idea of how programming, QA, or linked code works, so there's not much point listening to your complaining.
There's a lot of people saying they'll leave if X isn't fixed / changed. No one cares. It's pretty clear at this point that some people have demands that are not realistic , and some have demands that would cost more money than they brought in. One cannot reason with unrealistic requests.

Reyan01 has a point you missed. It's perceptions not matching reality. In most online game business settings, this is EXACTLY the main point that causes customer loss.
People complain about downtime, but downtime and bug fixing are not exactly linked. First they have to identify what's causing it, and that's assuming the programmers and coders that built the system are still employed by Cryptic. If they weren't, they have to pull the code apart, test all the ways it has bugs, find the bad code, make sure they fix it in a way that doesn't crash or bug anything else, recompile and do internal testing ... all of that not only takes time and money but means other bugs don't get fixed.
People who know nothing about programming seem to think "code" is a synonym for "magical lego block" that can just be swapped in and out. That's why every MMO is full of people screaming about bugs. Compared to garbage like SWTOR, TSW, and other games the bugs are not that bad.
But of course, anything that causes upset must be blown up to gigantic proportions..

actually plenty of people would be ok with downtime if they fixed things, hell i wouldn't mind if they took the game out for a week if they fixed every little bug with no exceptions.

I wouldn't mind either, but they would take a hit from sales if they did that, so they'll never do it...even though that is probably what is required at this point. These bugs are starting to make the game really frustrating to play...death by 1,000 stings.
After the last patch, sometimes the game crash to desk-top, thats new for me...

I would welcome downtime if it meant alot of the bugs were fixed and the devs would make it more playable.
as it is now its not very fun to play and certain aspects of the game are unplayable or a major headache.
so if downtime is what it would take for a major bug fix bring it on i say
