Game plays worse now

Missed bonus hour, came back after they shut things down and was booted 4 times in 10 minutes. Now I am unable to connect to the game maps.

    I'm sorry to hear that. Since the new Romulus release, I have found the game to work much faster for my computer! And all I have is an HP intel pentium, I don't have any good graphic cards or such .

    Whereas before the Romulus release, the game would go slow at times for me, now, it doesn't seem to much at all compared to before.

    STO is going through a really, really rough patch at this time and at some point the devs will fix the issues, your guess is as good as mine when that fix will come for the most serious issues, especially the server stability.

    Yeah, game play did get worse after the last server restart. Lots of server not responding messages, a few kicks off the server.

    I'm really starting to feel bad about the fact that I bought a lifetime sub...

    boy oh boy your lucky, I wish I could afford a lifetime subscription!

    I don't think it's a waste of money, I'm sure you'll enjoy the rewards of it. Free zen each month, liberated borg officer and more!

    now if only I could get that for my soon to be birthday in july...<looks around...> .. what?

    Don't worry about missing bonus hour. I was on for it and basically consisted of standing in place in weird positions firing at mobs that wouldn't die, not that I'd notice it with my nettiminggraph obscuring half the screen.

    Can't get back on either, seems the dreaded "login failed for an unknown reason" error is back from its union break.

    Usually when I encounter repeated booting, lag or unplayable toons, the first thing I do is come here to the forums to see if others are encountering the same problems. I didn't see anything so I started one myself. I'm not angry--I know they are working really hard to get this expansion working so everyone is happy--it's just nice to confirm that you are not the only lonely one out there unable to play. XD
