Will it ever happen? I am talking about the place down under at the lake border on New Romulus. It would be nice for players that roll a Reman character. Yet I foresee that many players roll a Romulan, so I won't be high on the totem pole of Cryptic to develop.
Crazy as this sounds, I actually had a dream once, before LoR came out, that I did indeed get to see that underground area. I wish it had been more than a dream.

Is the Reman a paid race? Because if so, that would be why you see so many more Romulans than Remans. That being said, it would surprise me not at all to one day find the New Remus area available as a social zone.
While I would like a New Remus, the Remans have chosen to live in New Romulus along with the Romulans, with their cities below the surface. If there were to be a New Remus, Crateris is still the obvious choice. The Elachi have been driven off from Crateris, most likely due to the loss of their fleet. While Crateris might not be a very promising planet, with the help of the Romulan Republic, they would most likely prosper and grow to become a sort of cultural center for the Remans.

Yes, I would like to see a mission "Return to Crateris" where the player helps the Reman Resistance reclaim the planet and drive off the remaining Elatchi.
What about a colony on Klorgat IV? One of the points where STO and the Destiny novels diverge is the planet that the Remans relocated. This does not have to be the case. What is to say that the Remans didn't settle on both planets. That Klorgat IV became a Klingon planet doesn't mean that the Remans didn't stay. Those that refused to bow to the Klingon Empire could have joined Obisek's Resistance.

I hope Cryptic does expand and open that area of New Romulus to Reman players. I cannot understand why it was painted in to begin with if they didn't have the intention of opening it up.

I agree, our future mining slaves should get a different place to survive than our beautiful Mol'Rihan!
No, I'm almost loking, a new Remus could be interesting, but how likely would it happen?
