Need help pls with Tholian Incursion missions

In the Tholian Incursion missions where you need an environmental suit which i received during the Boldy They Rode mission but when i equip it and leave the force field on Nukara Prime to go outside i keep burning up and dying so why is my EV Suit not protecting me it should be?

    You have to press teh activation button on the toolbar top left.

    Same place where you will find thrusters you can use to move faster on bodly they rode and while mining.
    You have to target the the beacons and then press the button.

    Yeah i forgot thats what i did in the bodly they rode mission to get the suit to work im sush a dumb TRIBBLE lol:o
