there has actually been a ton of tier 2 pvp activity since LoR, and ive got some feedback
-tier 2 cruisers, constitution and k'tonco, are totally uncompetitive. what would make them more balanced against the escorts and war birds is a 3rd fore weapon. their durability is not balanced with the firepower escorts have available, a 3rd weapon is the equalizer. its got the same number of weapons as a sci ship, whats up with that? it ends up having less weapons then the tier 3 cruiser has, and stays 1 weapon ahead of escorts like usual.
-i think you guys forgot to turn on kdf pvp for lower levels, its not an option to select, and they can start from level 1 now.
-low level pvp is actually funner then level cap pvp, because this is not so top heavy in station powers, P2W, cheese, carriers, and escorts dont have 40-60 turn rates, they have 20.
when leveling your new rom, que up as soon as your able!

And yes, tier 1-4 PvP is the best PvP in game. Tier 5 is an absolute joke.

Really? I Low-PvP since S7 go live and never had lot of issues with t2 cruiser. More trouble with t3 when escorts got upped with Alpha 3 and get slot Omega but cruisers still lack enough BOFF slots and hull to work against it.

NO. If you are levelin a Rom, go away. Please queue with Fed or Klink. Roms - go somewhere else. There is nice and juicy PvE for you.
i can take on 2 or 3 connies and win easily. 1 more array from each of them would give me more trouble though for sure. also, romulans are about 75% of low level pvp right now. not sure why people would be making new feds now, they got nothing new to make new characters for with LoR

the +1 dhelan is a monster. a LT tac and 2 ENS sci and 2 ens eng. well, theres a universal ENS in there, but i would use it for ens. damage control doffs for 2 different EPt skills, i choose engines and weapons at this low level, and a HE and ST for heals. CRF and THY for offense, it can kill anything in a decloak alpha, fly circles around everything, and those modest heals with quantum absorption let me solo 3 or 4 people, without even battle cloaking
all the escorts at this level are overpowered though compared to the cruisers. them haveing 1 more fore weapon would help quite a bit with that.
Problem with FvK queues is that it doesn't say who's on each side at the moment. Absolutely nuts.

Back when I first started rolling Klingons, I tried to level them through PvP.
Awesome ****. Mainly cos it would be the same dudes over and over, so we would build some chemistry. We had some really great fights with other Feds.
Yeah, but in this case they are dying faster then doing damage. Makes them rather useless :P
thats complete BS. even if a ship wanted to support, theres not enough station powers to do it. all a tier 2 cruiiser has is a LT and ENS eng, or from the c store 2 LT eng. thats enough to have good EPt coverage, and a hull heal maybe. point is your not sporting anything, but you can tank better then the escorts at that level. not well enough to shrug off any escort at that level doing a CRF+THY attack on 1 of your shield facings though, theres next to nothing any ship at that level can do to survive that, unless they use maybe thier only tac station for TT. but that can interfere with ET. BUT, escorts cant do that half as often at this level. the sci ship has better access to useful team heals. at low level pvp, theres none of this star ships healing each other TRIBBLE, they are all damage dealers with strengths and weaknesses in offense and defense. thats what this game should be.
the defensiveness in the tier 2 cruiser, with its offensive capability, results in a sum total of ability thats far below the durability and offense capabilty total the escorts have. 1 additional forward weapon on the cruisers, that only have 1 ENS tac station, would be an equalizer.
What's the loadout you have in mind on a T2 Connie? I guarantee you they can tank and do loads of damage while shrugging off a lot of punishment provided they are flown and setup right. Although in honesty I prefer the science vessel over T2 Cruiser, I feel I should point out that everything needs a buff to stand more of a chance against the T2 Warbird(s) otherwise it should get a nerf.

But as a KDF Cmdr you can sit in a cstore raptor and take on a 5 man normal ship team. Within one volley of fire I can tell if its a cstore ship or not, if it's not the guy is going down quick. I sat in kerrat and got 8 kills before the 12 feds firing at me finally took me down.
Low level can be fun, but really its worse off balance wise than max level. That's just FvK idk about adding a R in the mix

they turned kdf pvp off at low levels because they started at 20 befor. they did not re enable low level pvp for them. so surprised.
