Federation Interiors

So the new Romulan stuff looks amazing. By far the Romulan and Klingon interiors (ships and buildings) make the Federation stuff just bland and unattractive. I for one would like to see them polish up the Federation side. Especially the bridges, in my opinion they all look horrible expect for the Belfast and TOS ones. I honestly find myself enjoying the other factions solely on the visuals.

Thoughts? Surely I'm not the only one that is disappointed with this aspect.

    I agree, but Dstahl said, that they will go back to the feds after LOR and I guess a revamp of the fed interiors will be one of the things they'll do.

    Yes, it is long overdue.

    I would like them to dedicate a good chunk of the next season (would that be season 8 or 9 then?) to remastering old content including the interiors and the no longer up to standards Federation leveling experience.

    While they are at remastering Fed missions, they could adapt more thematically fitting missions to KDF/Rom POV.

    I would love to see the constitution refit , the excelsior, and other bridge and interiors. A constitution refit didn't have the Enterprise E's warp core. We need interiors and bridges that would match the ships.

    As much as they 'say' that Fed content would be next, I'm more in line with thinking that a good slate of Romulan themed stuff, is more in line with what they plan next.

    Indeed, the next season should be dedicated to revamping the FED experience. DStahl said once, that they want players to be able to create their own ship interiors. Adding this functionality plus also adding pre-made authentic interiors and remaking the FED story would qualify as a season update for me.

    Revamping the fed side, creating the Romulan "costume" for fleetbases, and revamping the sector space (autonav pathing, warp triggers, etc). maybe a new adventure zone if they could fit it in so we had some new content as well....something like Nimbius III where there are random events, but also repeatable missions as well.

    I know that "remastering" the worst of the early Fed missions is on their list of things to do. It's just a matter of time. I've got to believe they know we think the Starfleet interior looks crappy, too.

    I couldnt agree more with the OP. The Fed interiors look quite dated by now although the new textures do make it look somewhat better.
    The old layout is limited enough as it is but it could use a bit of an upgrade as well. In some missions there is a conference room that belongs to your ship. It looks quite good and should have been part of all bridge sets from the beginning imho.
    Fed interiors still look overly huge and the lcars textures look boring especialy when compared to the new romulan stuff.
    I know it will take some time but i real hope well get on par interios for Feds and KDF at some point and hopefully with a little more functionality as well.
    There are so many things you could do on your ship. From first contact and diplomatic meetings to fixing/improving your engines , deflectors etc if only for a time limited buff.
    New equipment could have a mision atached where you have to install and align it to work relaibly.

    Or you could look for spies or a virus in the computer or just the odd malfunction that needs to be traked down.
    Or how about defending it from a boarding party as part of a pve / pvp mission.

    So many possibilities for daily missions, minigames etc.

    Not to mentions some ships would bprobably sell way better if they had some kind of unique interior.

    Your not getting the Constitution refit, the game developers are not allowed to make it a T5 ship. - Said the people who own the license.

    no t5 constitution why that is nothing but plain and simple hate against a good ship :(

    Actually this guy: jeffrobinson79, was referring to wanting to see the bridges/interiors of the refit constitution and excelsior made available kinda like that TNG bundle that's been rumored. He wasn't asking for a tier 5 connie.

    have to agree my odyssey bridge looks amazing, yet having the default crew and engineering kind of ruins the immersion.

    @caseyleep, I have no hate for the ship personally but it's just not going to happen unless you can get the License holders onboard. Begging in the forums is beating a dead horse.

    im guessing though that criptic does hate the ship since they aint giving us a t5 constitution to buy :(
