Last Stand final boss

Anyone have issues with beating the final boss? I just can't seem to beat it down fast enough before it chews me up.

    You mean the last stage where you fight off 3 waves of enemy?

    I found this mission to be very hard at this point. I forget the system name, but you are defending a station from 3 waves of enemies, one battleship in each wave.

    I think there are 3 frigates and 3 escorts.

    Anyway, I was dying like no tomorrow. The frigates were easy, but the escorts and the battleship would spank me so hard, I cried like a 4yr old who just shat his pants on the playground.

    I ended up making sure my ship was always face to face with the enemy (within meters).
    Fire weapons, heal as I could, but make damn sure when I go out, I take a peice of them with me.

    Took an hour but I got it done.

    No. This is the one where you have to repair 3 mining facilities. Each one has elachi forces you need to destroy before you can repair the mines. The last dreadnaught is brutal. I tried like 5 times to get it and only got it down to 51%. If you get too far away it spits out these tractor beams that not only hold you in place but also drain your shields & hull at the same time. I've gotten to the front of it as well with no help. Not sure if I am under leveled either. (lvl 28 subcommander). Any ideas??

    I remember this.

    Yes, it was difficult, though in hindsight not unreasonably so.

    You'll need to take advantage of the fact that most of these ships will be shooting at the station, allowing you to slowly pull them off and kill them one by one.

    The station will never be destroyed and there's no way for you to fail the mission, so just be patient.

    You could go do some PvE queue or exploration missions for two levels, and come back in a lvl 30 ship.

    You don't have to kill the ships. Use your battle cloak and try to just repair the facilities.

    Got past the boss here and did a stealth fix on the mining base, on the part that had the three waves, I focused on the battleships first while I still had some help. Then I took out the others, died a few times but got it done.

    Yeah the last guy is a douche on elite I cloaked got in range and repaired then ran screaming like a little girl.

    well got past that last guy. this is what i did. went in cloaked. your cloak comes off when you scan so i used my pirate reinforcement, warp shadow & dropped a turret. that kept it busy so i could scan easily and warp my butt out of there!!:D
